Actually in the games code for edf 5 there is an unused mutant Eurginus that is the same size as the red version of Eurginus but not red, and also has the same yellow glow like red version, so it probably got scrapped due to AI issues or problems with the attacks, they probably had an idea for a mutant arcules but it never made it into the codes, but I am guessing mutant arcules could spawn enemies from the explosive rock hatch
