in all fairness tho, in a situation like this, you kinda need to do what teo does. you have barely any room for religion outside your free time, emergency shift shouldnt be as bad as its on the screen, maybe have something slowly go up the more you use emergency shift, like overloading the generator. so much things in this game seems so illogical to have such a negative effect in a situation like this.
@@kayjay.you ah...you know they're working a 24 hour shift and then another 10-14 hours after that with no sleep in between right? 38 hours straight of hard labour with no sleep, no food (they only eat when they clock on or off) and in freezing cold weather. The fact its only guaranteed to kill one person per playthrough is a miracle. I think a mere 1/5 of the discontent bar that all goes away after 3 days max is reasonable.
He’s right though, the people need to survive before they can thrive. Harsh truth of it is in a situation as dire as presented the people who survived the calamity - even the children - really only have one goal which is doing whatever they have to to ensure a better life for the next generation, and so on.
This was hilarious. Teos quotes over efficiency for survival had me in tears. "Am I going for a time when we have to eat our dead?" I was laughing so hard
Love this game and LOVED watching you play it Teo! Hope to see you play more (All scenarios in the game are great, but The Last Autumn in a fan favourite!)
@@undercover5048 Honestly I think all of em range from good to great. I agree with your top 3 but Refugees and On the Edge are slept on IMO. Arks is the only one I think is just okay.
@@glenock3405 i like the premis of the three other scenarios aswell, the problem is that if the player played 1 or 2 scenarios before and still continue on normal then they probably are able to save basically everyone (new Manchester, the lords, or the settlements from on the edge) without much issues... this then really undermines the ethical and social dilemma. Also i need to add that the idea of on the edge is top notch however i feel like this dlc is really undercooked, like your only option with the settlements is to either stay neutral and only trade or get buddies. I just would have liked more choices, something like betraying them or sabotaging for benefits.
Been trying to beat Last Autumn for the past 3 days, only today did I manage to survive the whole way through but was only able to complete 97% of the generator before the game forced me to leave. To be honest I shouldn't have even gotten as far as I did, my people went on without food for days and dozens died every other day to the cold. Last Autumn is beating me way harder than A New Home ever did. Edit: Finally managed to get a successful clear in one sitting, i even managed to fulfill the optional goals before the docks froze. In total I got the perfect ending 11 days ahead of schedule with 0 deaths
Teo taking the mission to heat up homes and then not making a heater to heat the area up more is killing me (never played the game so idk if they stack or not) but it's worth trying
what I dont get is why teo didnt go 20/80 or 40/60 on facilities that are in use and things he needed (for example coal) he always 100/0 one thing until the other thing runs out then he panics and goes 0/100 the other thing i get hes busy but this is such a coinflip way to play lmao
Looks like a fun game and I'm enjoying watching Teo play, but what a weird concept. The world gets another ice age, and so they move.... North? Where there's no buildings, or anything to take apart and use as fuel? Or ever have a chance of growing trees, or even just being marginally warmer on the equator? Like if someone said "man I'm freezing, we should really go to the north pole" I'd pack their bag and wave goodbye lmao
There is actually an in game explanation why they went north but the two mains points are basically 1: some wildlife up north is already adapted to freezing temperatures 2: all lot Basically most of the human race went to the equator which can only result in chaos, think about its the end of the world and you have way too much people gather along a way too small line with tons of different cultures... soo yeah the cold isn't your only danger in the south
@@rookield8077 obviously yeah, but the crownland (the British) send people before the cold north building those generators with those advantages in mind.
Teo you should try a vinnilla bean swirl iced coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts, if you like sweeter coffee do 3 pumps, if you don’t like it too sweet then go with 1 pump.
Frost punk is a really hard game for new players, yet teo managed as he is playing planet Soo, this guy is good ar management games, looking forward for him to play the expansion "the last autumn".
not really a more teo watcher, but imma enjoy this over the next couple days ^^ great fucking game. not too great of a fan of the dlc tho i think im in the minority there edit: im now nearly 2 hours in and holy fuck. i didnt know you could fuck up this badly. "things are going great" meanwhile half his pops are sick without treatment and the other half has no houses, his tech is lacking and when the first couple waves of cold start hitting he will be game over. gonna predict he aint gonna make it, which i didnt know was possible since the game does such a great job of teaching you what to do. fuck me man.
Then i don't see the difference, if you dig them up anyway sooner or later, its just more efficient to dump them and efficiency is key to mankind survival. (Also cemetery law doesn't allow organ transplants in game soo yeah)
Teo I love your stuff, but I just wanted to let you know that Starbucks is a no-go. They support horrible shit in multiple categories and I would avoid their products.
Teo and his mods respectfully ask people to keep politics out of his content. Let the man enjoy his life. If you want to obsess about these things, that's your decision.
The fact that Teo is wearing a Save the Children shirt and saying "Child labour? Oh hell yeah, why wouldn't we?" with no hesitation is hilarious to me
The duality of man lmfao

Ubisoft just announced that the next farcry's dictator is based of teo.
I think its funny he is running a fund raiser for trees planted but is playing a game where coal is your lifeline. hhahahaha
Also he’s actively doing child labor while wearing a save the children hoodie 💀
"I won't let my society crumble because i am afraid of getting cancelled."

"Ouuuu how exciting!!!"

Never thought I’d hear Teo justifying child labor and organ harvesting lmao

This is the dark souls of city building.
Since they showed the release date of Frostpunk 2 I had to finally beat the New Home scenario it's hard and I love it.
The hardest one in my opinion is the fall of winterholm. I was stuck on that for days.
@@adrianbarrientos2075 Fall of Winterholm is beyond brutal, i spent like 30 hours trying to beat it on survivor mode.
Lmaoo Teo ranting about sending the children to work and he has to take off the SaveTheChildern hoodie 🤣

TEO - it'll be fine it's just temperature.
Me who has 40 hours in the game - oh... oh this is gonna be good.
I screamed “LETSFUCKINGGOOOO” when I saw this
“Coalmines shmoalmines” is burned into my memory now and I just randomly say it without context, thanks Teo😭
We have to save the children..., so that we have more people to work in the coal mines xD Love ya Teo
Love the justification for amputation: If I cut my leg off, that's meat for the future.
oooh cant wait to see if teo makes a theocracy like I did in this game
More like a ‘Teocracy’ am I right
Saw him play 30 minutes, had to buy and play it for myself. Now I am returning to watch a successful playthrough! (relatively)
So, this is the origin of Winterehome.

Teo, he reeeeally wants a propaganda center, but he's not vibing with the color
No offense to Teo, but I don’t think he’d be the best choice as a leader in these types of situations. A dictatorship would emerge quite quickly.
Love this game, but this video also reminded me why I never repayed it; since its such a stressful game.
I love that Teo chose child labour over overtime
