Great content. Thanks guys for this insightful content!
It is really exciting!
Just one more point I'm looking for is how to calculate rain values from the values available NOAA precipitation data.
Thanks for sharing videos!
Hello! did you figure our how to do it? i have been looking for that same thing myself.
NOAA provides you the point precipitation frequency data, you just need to figure out which type of distribution is applicable for your region ( Type 1, Type 2, Type3). Then use excel to create a equivalent rain gage by multiplying the (T2 -T1) with the Rainfall intensity to get rainfall depth at each time step
Really nice hack, thanks a lot for the videos.
Great video
nice hack!
Nice hack, Krey
Really nice your Channel!
It will be great if you can address my query on the HEC-RAS 2D Result. I use AutoCAD Civil 3d/MAP 3d software for design development. I was wondering how the result (Flood Depth/ Velocity) can be assessed in Civil 3d. I tried several times to import the terrain model created via RAS Mapper. I find the terrain files created are not compatible with Civil 3d. If there is any other software to convert the terrain file to the compatible files on Civil 3d.
