A little tip to defeat Wally a bit faster: When Willy is defeated, quickly pause and unpause the game because if you do that, his fourth stage will appear instantly and that way you can save a few seconds (honestly, it doesn't even help that much, but it's fun to do)
Why is it that planes levels are so simple in regular mode but then in expert mode all of them decided to take a swig of cocaine and become the hardest bosses in the game?
Great video! You always have the best help guides. Just got done S-Ranking every other boss on the main game and DLC, this is the last one I have to do. This is also my least favorite boss in the entire game 😂. It's a sad state of affairs when Chef Saltbaker is easier to S-Rank than Wally Warbles for me😂😂.
Been running through the bosses on expert sequentiality. Got here and had to put the game down a couple weeks. Spent another 5+ hours, put it down again a few more weeks. This happened a few times. In total after about 4 f-ing months finally beat him. Beautiful feeling. This is why I play. On to inkwell Isle 3 bosses
If there's anything I've learned from seeing people play these types of games and genre, it's that it's simply not for everyone. I have friends that like the game overall, but playing it just feels like a whole different experience. When they're used to seeing gameplay on Cuphead, and then they switch to playing it because they think they can do good, everything changes lol. The game can be surprisingly overwhelming for certain types of people, regardless of how much they know about the game, and that makes them obviously gain feelings on anxiety, pressure, and what you've said panic and panic attacks. I don't think there's shame in it, and although I've never suffered from such feelings seriously playing this genre, I understand that if something makes you uncomfortable, then don't feel the need to pursue it further unless you intentionally want to push yourself. I just hope people don't start to hate the game because of that 😅

Yay after 5 days of struggling with this big bird I finally did it, for some reason after turning the music off it did the trick (music must of been distracting)
Recently after beating the game I wanted to try some of the bosses on expert just for fun, BUT MY GOSH nothing could prepare me for the spike in difficulty for this boss. I had heard that this boss is a nightmare on expert but I didn’t think it could be that bad. Thanks for the tips!

Staying on the left side of the screen to dodge the eggs dors not work on EXPERT Difficulty like it does for REGULAR Difficulty. Also, on the 4th Phase, staying on the far left or far right on the screen because you'll get hit by more stuff due to the ambulance birds.
Man fuck this goddamn bird this shit is making my head hurt making me want to download a god mode mod Update: beat him and all the plane bosses from isle 3 this mf was definitely the hardest of the 3 (i did jimmy and hilda first)
Back from accidentally S-ranking Wally within 10 minutes and then Saltbaker within 10 minutes immediately after. Tip: Wally is, imo, the most fun airplane boss to replay (close 2nd being Cala Maria and 3rd being Hilda Berg). So just play him for fun, don't let him get on your nerves; soon you'll accidentally have your S-rank. And then use the leftover luck on Chef Saltbaker. Same sort of thing goes for Mortimer Freeze; I've S-ranked him quite a few times, simply by accident, since he's the funnest boss to replay from the DLC imo.

After that i did the easiest achievements (steam), today i got 9 achievements and started doing the all expert mode. I did every single non plane level in 3 times every boss and was pretty easy. BUT OMG, this stupid bird and his eggs is just imoral
I mean, it is arguably the BEST charm for Plane Bosses, so naturally yes I'm going to recommend it every time if you have it. I still try to make sure and recommend other charms you could use if you don't have Divine Relic, since Divine Relic takes a whole process to actually get.
I'm going for S rank on all bosses w/o heart-increasing charms and without Chalice and Wally is giving me straight hell. Ive mastered the first 3 phases but phase 4 always ruins me
I get what you mean, cuz I used to think that same thing, but I realized you can't simply ignore a charm or recommendation because it's not given to you on a silver platter. It is objectively the best charm for Plane Levels, and like I say in at least a few videos, it is much worth getting if this is what you want to try and attempt. It's not that hard considering you have control of how you progress the charm, seeing as you can easily farm the Isle 1 bosses to quickly level up the Cursed Relic so it's easier for harder bosses. If you're already going for S Ranks, let alone the HARDEST S RANK in the game (subjectively of course), you are more than prepared enough to get the Divine Relic, it's that simple really.

Yeah, it briefly allows you to dodge through some things if timed right, but it's typically not worth bringing it unless you're using Divine Relic.
