0:42 bro most hate Floyd he said is he really tho before the video started 🤣
9:55 just because you don't know any of these fighters doesn't mean their not great 😂 you still have a lot to learn
15:47 ye because of that hand injury
Floyd literally fought some of the best in his 40s
20:44 he's being defensive right now
21:21 nah it's to stop swelling
21:36 he definitely is special he beat julo cesor Chavez if you have forgotten
4:41 bru Washed what's up with you today you must really hate floyd bro😂
11:18
Mayweather had aggressive power in his natural weight class.
Moving up in weight along with hand injuries caused him to rely more on his defensive skills.
10:26
When a guy is being outclassed sometimes his corner stops the fight.
Hernandez was champion at 130 and his only loss had come in a higher weight class to Oscar De La Hoya. Many asked at the time if the young Mayweather was seasoned/experienced enough to take on a champion.
He outclassed the champion and beat him easily.
Also, look at the record of Mike Tysons early opponents. Most champions spend their early career gaining experience.
1:47 Floyd's like 5ft8 for his division he not really small
Floyd Mayweather=The sweet science
Only a part of the sweet science though, I think the only person that was ever able to perfect the sweet science of boxing, it's Sugar Ray Robinson
13:15 that opponent right their floyd is fighting was his toughest fight his name is emunal Augustus the drunken master 100% recommended him
Yup
37:48 yep, this is where boxing started to look like a joke
1:50
Yes he is small. You are seeing Floyd Mayweather at his original weight class of 130 pounds.
When fighting at 147 he was undersized for the weight and often faced opponents who rehydrated into the 160s.
9:46 yep
28:22
He actually does fairly often.
34:20 the video not showing the full fight🤷♂️
24:16
Those that really understand the sport enjoy watching Floyd for a reason.
Floyd had been trying to time Hattons entry with that check left hook since round 1.
Every time Floyd gravitated towards the ropes Hatton(feeling Floyd was trapped) lunged. Floyd set him up and walked him into that shot.
The reason Hatton drops his hands and gets hit with the right hand at 24:08 is because Floyd has been consistently stabbing him to the solar plexus with a body jab and dropping low to feint the same body jab and surprise him with the lead right hand.
Floyd is a thinker in the ring.
You won't get all of that from a highlight video.
21:37
Yes, Oscar De La Hoya was something special.
Hmm, was he? Might have to watch a bored film doc on him
@@WashedOlympian I believed I had responded to a similar comment on a Hopkind video of yours months ago.
I did so I decided to repost it as it would end up being the same message anyway.
"Is Oscar even anywhere good? 😂
A 1992 Gold Medalist with all around fundamentals, excellent hand and footspeed, good power, an All Time Great piston like jab that could win rounds by itself, a killer left hook, and a granite chin?
I would say that's pretty good.
Add that he fought damn near every great fighter of his era and started his career ALL THE WAY down at 130 pounds and winning titles in 6 weight classes before facing Hopkins at 160(which was a step too far as Oscar didn't belong at Middleweight)."
@@combatsportlover6919 Oh, yes of course. It's just hard to believe hahah
@@WashedOlympian Hard to believe? 🤣
The disrespect of an ATG Hall of Famer.
@combatsportlover6919 😅😅😅
35:29
We knew what Floyd was going to do. He was going to use tactics and strategy to neutralize Mannys best attributes. It was up to Manny and his team to not allow that to happen. It was boring because casuals expected something different.
12:55 and did he get knocked out from putting that pressure? No he still had excellent defence only reason he changed his style is because he had bad hand problems and his hands would break easily
Floyd's already a billionaire he made like 200MILLION from the conor fight
24:38 8 Miguel Cotto.
7 Zab Judah.
6 Marcos Maidana 2.
5 Arturo Gatti.
4 Ricky Hatton.
3 Canelo Alvarez.
2 Manny Pacquiao.
1 Oscar De La Hoya isn't that a good list to you? Theirs more way more then 2
Corrales, JMM, Mosley,
25:08
Nothing happened to the brittle hands. He gave them a rest for two years. He also uses his power sparingly around this time. Sharp, quick, accurate, and scoring blows while rarely putting his full power behind his shots.
Ohhhh, that's where the 2 years went.

10:10 bro, this ain't the 4 kings of boxing era, this is where the "ducking fights system" began, everybody was not fearless, like they were in the 70s,80s, & 90s
😭😭😭😭
1:44 yeah p, well i mean he aint a heavyweight 😂 he just a lightweight, he's almost the same height as duran
7:35
The referee in the Olympics asked that same question(how did he lose) because he accidentally raised Floyd's hand in victory.
Most believed him to be robbed. Probably not as bad as Roy Jones was robbed but close to it.
Daaamn.
0:43
Yes, he really is. While I disagree with Floyd's notion that he is the best ever it could definitely be argued he is the best of his era and he is without question the best super star of the era considering his multiple fights selling over 2 million paper views.
People who don't follow boxing know his name. That is the definition of a super star.
Definitely a superstar. Money man
2:16 ig you get bored over time even bill gates one of the richest people in the world was depressed
Mayweather v Pacquiao was so disappointing. It should've happened WAY earlier, and the actual fight was just a let down.
And yeah, i agree with the 'influencer boxing' thing you said. There are great fighters having great fights, but they seemingly get no hype. All of the marketing goes the way of the Jake Paul's, which is a shame.
I heard it was boring as well. Damn, it could have been a historic event.
@@WashedOlympian It was disappointing to people hoping they were going to see Floyd get knocked out.
4:42 washed I think your seeing things it's floyd Mayweather he is literally known for having excellent technique
4:55 nah dude, that is actually excellent technique, you'll soon realise, just like you realised that Muhammad Ali's punches weren't slaps😂
HAHAHAHAHAHA
6:15 fighting nobdays? Who tf told you that? So canelo is a nobody then? However told you that needs to be banned from saying anything about boxing floyd fought some of the best he's not my favourite fighter but you gotta respect him
10:10 your being to desperate there's still 30 minutes of the video and your thursting for him to fight some good name's chill he will just be patient he fought loads of great names
34:18 nah bro, floyd won the fight controversially, manny lamded 120 punches, and floyd only landed 69, you have to watch manny pacquiao's documentary next
I'd have to disagree. It was an 8 rounds to 4 kind of fight in Floyd's favor.
