Channel host: you are a shining example of how to raise bunnies correctly. Plenty of room to exercise, clean habitat, quality food, spayed and neutered and slow careful introduction of new bun. I wish every bunny owner would follow your example! Much respect to you. ♥♥♥

@@HayLoverBun You set a great example of how bunnies should be cared for as pets and family members. I cringe when I think of poor bunnies being kept outside in hutches and cages, exposed to weather elements and pretty much ignored. People wouldn't do that to their cats and dogs. I wish they would see it is wrong for bunnies, too. Thank you for showing the right way.

Bringing Eevee into the mix would just increase the cute factor! I sure hope your finger gets better! Take your time with this. You have an excellent channel! Oh no!! Sorry to hear it's not going very well. Bonding a pair of bunnies is difficult enough, we've never tried to add a 3rd yet, but I can imagine how hard I can be! I hope your finger heals well, bunny bites are very painful and deep! 😥 I hope they all get along eventually otherwise your house will have to be divided! 😂🐰🥰

Oh gee. Looks like this is going to take more time than expected. We love all three so much, and while this was scary, it was also very interesting. This is going to be a tutorial for anyone considering adding a third bunny in a similar situation. Rabbits are definitely complex little animals - loving and precious, but still a descendant of the wildlife kingdom. Hope your finger heals well and hoping all gets better going forward. 🥰

So cute 😊 Goodluck with the bonding patience is a must. Dont be surprised if u get them bonded & then breaks but just keep going through the steps & hope for the best, Id even double grid the barrier so u avoid injuries through the fence, one of my buns has a permanent scar on his nose from a nip through the grid.

Eevee didn’t look frightened at all. That is a plus! Tee and Fin will be okay with Eevee over time. My daughters bunnies never bonded but they do tolerate each other and never fight. They have different living spaces and are only together when my daughter is right with them. They are both still so happy! Acceptance alone is a positive thing even without bonding. All three buns are amazing💛💛💛

Sorry for your finger, it must have been painful, those teeth are so sharp 😞.
As for bonding a new bunny to a pair, the new one must be sterilized and the encounter in a neutral area, where they have never been before. You have to start the whole processus again. If not done properly, you could break the bond between Tee and Fin .
Hope everything will be fine 😍

I read somewhere that they best bond in neutral spaces and in stress bonding, and sometimes bonding takes weeks or months or even longer.

I have just added a 3rd to a bonded pair. For the first weeks they will nip and hump one another in order to establish a hierarchy. Always supervise this in case it goes too far and you need to separate. However, it’s important to let them do this even though it is stressful. I also kept my new little one caged after their introduction but caged in the same area as the other bunnies so they can get used to each other’s scents. Then I let the little one out more and more often. After a few weeks or a month they should all be alright with one another.

I wondered how the three would get along. It'll take some time I think but then again if Tee & Finn are so closely bonded you may end up with 3 bunnies living in different locations in the house.

That won’t work this way! You have to bring them all together at once in a room or coral, that is completely new to each and with no fence between them. That might be hard to watch, but they must fight out their rankings alone. Otherwise they won’t except the other. But to be honest, I think one will be alone in the end, that could be Fin. This are the rules of nature. It is very rare to have a group of three rabbits in harmony. Why did you bring another one home if you have such an harmonic couple - I don’t understand that! In the end you have to buy another male and have two couples in separate rooms.

    • @HayLoverBun

We don't think that will be the case. Time will tell how will it goes in the future.

It's jealousy. I went through it when bonding my bunnies. I was introducing my male bunny to my 2 females, and one male, and my male bunny kept the females away from the new bunny..He did not like him, even now that they are finally all together, and it took many months.. every now and then there is bullying between the males, but nothing serious. Your Bunny is also close to you, and your husband, he doesn't want to share you two..that is why he attacked you. He's upset.
