I got my new explorer Bluetooth air not to long ago an now I'm starting to use it. I was watching your video. I'm not sure but it look like you didn't have to push the mat in with some pressure to cut. I have to push with light pressure on my mat or it'll cut on the top of the mat where there's no paper. What am I doing wrong or is it the machine?

No I do have to lightly push it in, just before you press the button to cut push the mat in the machine under the little side pieces and then it is ready to go as otherwise as you rightly say it will cut the mat. Sounds like it is all working fine :-)

What white paper did you use? My snowman's eyes won't cut out, they keep ripping

I used centura pearl card from crafters companion. But check your sizes too to be sure you have it cutting big enough overall. Lastly click on the link in the para below the video which will take you to the blog post and lots of photos of my finished card. If you go over click on the photo and it will come up real big and actually you will see it was not perfect either these little bits can sometimes tear a little but if you can rescue it enough to stick it down it may still look ok. The other thing I sometimes do, if y ou have to cut out the small pieces is to actually not do so but to use a marker say to add the mouth nose etc. that can work ok too. Hope that helps x
