Love your videos guys! Very informative! However regarding this video I'd have to say that fumbling around in a database sucks (in this case) because the things queried should be implemented in the front end. Screwing around in a production database should always be an last resort measure rather than cavalierly performing queries (imho).
Love the videos, I have been trying to set up a proxy for weeks now with no success. I have followed the guide and videos but the performance is horrible with only a single host. The hosts are in the same data center. DB IS tuned, there is no issue in speeds when running iperf to test the bandwidth between the proxy/server and proxy/db. Db is very low utilization and has no errors. But no matter what I do I'm only getting 9vps a si gle message for the sender is always 0.1xxxx. I have set a proxy on another server and have the same issue. The servers are all cent os 8, zabbix 5, and the latest mariadb. It is very hard to test a product to determine if you want to purchase a license when there is no support if you have not purchased a license.
Which would be the best way to monitor the Zabbix Proxy? Meaning that the Zabbix Server can notice if the Proxy is down. Great video and content by the way.
