I personally think the new hero is going to be mongolian based on the hero skin being for the wu ling and the dinamic between the orochi hero skin and sohei, so here is my theory: The orochi hero skin was different to the rest of the hero skins released at the same time than a new hero because it's the only one that isn't antagonistic or an enemy of the hero. Basically, all hero skins released with new heroes have been at odds with the new heroes,raider's and medjay were the first and the more nuance one since they didn't start as enemies but ended up becoming so due to personal reasons and conflict, after them all hero skin/hero relationships can be summerised with "hero skin finds new hero, does bad thing to new hero, new hero seeks revenge, almost kills hero skin but they get away, new hero stays in Heathmore", and the community has been very vocal about how much we hate this dynamic. With master katashi and sohei they changed the dynamic by making both start as antagonist to one another but end up as friends. The writers know that we don't like the old dynamic and most of the opinions I've seen about katashi's lore have been positive, so the writers have an incentive to do something similar and this leads me to the new hero. Why a mongol? Well, taking into account my previous observation about the hero skin/hero dynamic change, I think the new hero is going to be allied with the hero skin but in a twisted way, we do know that the new hero is a villain, let's say the new hero skin is for tiandi since he's the only vanguard left without one, this is how I think/wish things play out: The new hero skin is presented as a young noble who's starting his career as a general for the empire, he's showing promise as a leader and ambition to keep climbing the ranks and gaining power, however he will soon find out he's career might be short lived. A new threat, a powerful new faction has appeared on the wu ling borders, however the wu ling are uncorcerned, after all this time the empire has survived through external invasions, civil wars and much more, what is some random invaders going to do? Regardless, they send a sizable army to scare them off, one being led by the tiandi hero skin who jumps at the opportunity to gain more fame and glory. Of course, things go horribly wrong, the wu ling army is completely massacared with few survivors including his general, by the time word about the defeat reaches the capital it's too late, the mongol army has already taken too much territory, the empire doesn't have enough manpower and with the enemy at their doorstep they make peace with the idea that the empire is doomed and so are they though they will fight to their last breath. However, the enemies general has other plans, she sends an ultimatum, surrender and join her empire or die, most choose the latter, surrendering would be a great dishonor only lesser to joining the invaders, but a few, mostly lower enlisted men, consider her offer, the tiandi general amongst them, after all he has seen the invaders general and her trusted officers on the battlefield, rich, powerful, respected... the promise of all this things sway the tiandi and chooses to betray his empire for the gifts of the invaders. Of course this was a ploy by the enemies general, one that has worked dozens of times on many different campaigns that has allowed her and her close group of warriors to create a vast empire that the wu ling have joined willingly or not. After the new territory is annexed, the tiandi finds himself as one of the few high ranking officers left of the wu ling empire and tasked with leading the wu ling territories and keeping them in check for their new master while she looks elsewhere to keep expanding and soon finds a suitable target: Heathmore. After sending some spies she soon finds out the current state of Heathmore, the power division, Horkos and Quimera, the Qing pass currently being closed by the Horkos occupation, and so she plans her next move, taking over the pass to allow her armies access to Heathmore, then taking care of the factions, Horkos has powerful warriors and are united under Astera's leadership but they lack numbers, meanwhile Quimera have good numbers, resources and wargear but are slow to react, due to the lack of a leader figure and are not as unified as Horkos, 'it would be easy' she thinks. At first it is, but after realising their predicament, and with much hesitance, Horkos and Quimera join up against the new threat and manage to hold back and eventually push the invaders back to wu ling territories where both groups are now in a stalemate planing their next move. And that's my hipothesis/prediction for next season, now this was greatly exaggerated after I got carried away writing it but this are the takeaways: -The new hero and hero skin are going to be allies. -The new hero is Mongolian, based on the hero skin/hero dinamic, this would also tie with the historical conquest of China by the mongol empire and the subsequent attempts at invading Japan which in for honor is the Myre aka the samurai and coincidentally is the closest faction to the wu ling territories. -The new hero is a villain which I believe will greatly shake the current power dynamic between Horkos and Quimera, getting rid of the conflict between the two which the community is tired of.

I don't think much of what you stated is too far-fetched. It is expected they will continue the hero skin - new hero tie trend that they're presumably committed to. Not so sure how much they truly listen to the community about lore, but I did like how they tied Katashi's story to Sohei, but they did have a great folktale behind it to build off of. With the success/approval of Katashi skin, It's possible they do the same here, but if not, some semblance of your story could definitely still work. I don't personally want the young general bowing down to the new threat, but I get the ambition. This vid is just based off of things found or stated. I'm ready for these next skins already lol. You know how i know this is true because we asked for a Spartan hero for years they took that request and ubisoft it into amazonian. Spartan are the most formidable fighters to walk this earth yet they are not represented in this game but we got pretend fighters
I m thinking the same, i d rather the new outlander don't be a mongolian. Wulin already lost one potential hero ( the pirate should have been wulin), no need to take an other away from tthem when there is so much other possibilities for outlanders.

No, they were born in Heathmoor therefore they are not outlanders. I’m part Korean and I was born in the United States, that automatically makes me a citizen because I was born in the states of America, that’s the same with the for honor heroes besides outlanders You don’t need to be born in a certain country to be that nationality. So to answer your question, yes, Shamen, Highlander, Gladiator and Centurion is from Heathmoor. And in for honor lore, the Wu-Lin is a faction of wanderers with no place to call home. And outlanders are not considered a “traditional” faction, they are not interested in conquering new land, plus not sharing ANY cultural similarities unlike Wu-Lin who has their own faction
Ah I guess I was wrong about the Mulan Hero skin for Tiandi with a Mongolian warlord. Honestly It would be weird if we got a greek hero, imo I feel we got a good feel for it already with Gryphons armor and with Cent/Glads whole motif borrowing themes from the area. But who knows, if the hero is fun or cool looking I'd gladly throw away my predisposition towards it. Then again it would be very weird to try and tie in a Wu-Lin hero skin with a random Greek amazonian queen, who knows. We'll hopefully get some more clues or leaks in the coming months 👍
@commanderslap6656 Slap, I'm right there with you. Something's not adding up, but like another comment someone made, Penthesilia could be the VG skin that we saw she was getting during the WD. That would make sense as much as no one is asking for a VG skin rn 😂. That being said Mulan inspired hero, could be on the table. That's why I mentioned in the vid, I'm not completely sold but this clues have to mean something. I hope it's the hero skin for VG and we can just continue to speculate on the Wu Lin tie going forward. Keep the faith on the Mulan-inspired hero. I would like a Boudicca inspired Brythonic hero My idea is that she as two weapons a spear and a sword, that she switches between The spear being less risky and more for chipping down and wearing your opponents out The sword being more aggressive but comes at a higher stamina cost , It would add a cool new way to play with the stamina bar, treating it more as a resource than ever before For Fashion you could do loads Brythonic nobles were know too wear Chainmail You could have lots of war-paint and then lots of furs and hides also potentially some design elements from other factions because it was known that Celtic warriors would take armour from fallen opponents

If the next one isn’t Greek the one after 100% will be. I think Outlanders is a way for them to add the suggest heroes that don’t fit the original roster and once they’re done adding them the game will begin to go quiet going into year 10.
I always thought that if they were going to continue the trend of gender exclusive heroes, it would only make sense to have one of them based on the Amazons, the most famous group of female warriors. Though I don't think we'll get another axe hero, since the last female hero did have it. I'm guessing that if it's an Amazonian, they will have a Kopis/Xiphos sword paired with a Hoplon shield.

Ofc, it definitely could be and like mentioned in ep 1 of Outlander speculation, I do think if they go Mongolian it will be Khutulun inspired, especially with the Khan connections. If this hero was the next hero, it would be a deviation from how theyve been introducing heroes and with two more skins left, that's not likely. It's fun speculation and just crazy if how this aligned was all coincidence. I expect that Wu Lin skin to matter. We just need to see how? Once the VG skin drops, we may know a bit more. @MisterArdor My ancestry is from the Rajput warriors and Maratha warriors so figures like Maharana Pratap, Rana Sanga, Chatrapati Shivaji, Peshwa Bajirao, etc would be completely applicable. There are also the Sikh warriors and their figures. Indian weaponry is very unique such as the dand patta (gauntlet sword), katar (punch dagger), urumi (whip sword), khanda sword, haladie (double bladed recurve dagger) and so on. A hero character with one or multiple of these would play very differently than previously seen. Come on Ubisoft!

As for, Maharana Pratap, he used a spear and khanda from the little I read since you mentioned him and even the khanda would be an excellent addition. I do think it’s a bit too weird that Roman went to the knights twice and the Greeks would go to the outlanders, and especially with a Wu Lin skin? They have done a skin vs. new hero every time since skins became a thing so, I just don’t see how they could theme a Wu Lin skin to fight a Greek warrior and have it make sense. They tried Viking vs Egypt and everyone agrees that’s the worst skin (for the most part) so I don’t see them doing that again… these are interesting coincidences though, but maybe it’s just to give more Varangian themed stuff to the Viking faction? Since she’s not as “Scandinavian” as some of the others? Idk lol
@thecakesnake The Viking/Raider - Medjay and Knight/BP - Afeera tie ins were pretty suspect. They've done better with the Viking/Highlander - VG and Samurai/Orochi - Sohei tie ins. I'm with you, Snake, on how they tie the hero skins into the next hero and mentioned this in the last Outlander hero vid ep1. These clues just had me wondering. Someone commented that she could be used as inspiration for the VG skin that's coming next and that makes sense. The only thing that doesn't is the weapon. If Penthesilia uses a double-axe are they simply going to have her use the same axe as Katla/VG? I hope Penthesilia will be the upcoming VG skin vs anything further because if she is, that means they are sticking with their script and are giving us much more to speculate on going forward! @@MisterArdor y’know what, that would actually be sick - especially if they did new voice and a slight model adjustment like they did with the S1 Ezio skin this yeah - and I didn’t even think about this till now but the knights got Greek weapons in the battle pass as well. You can really see the Greek pillar inspiration on the Lawbringer pole axe, and the manticore design choice - a Greek and Persian creature. So with VG being a Greco Roman and middle eastern inspired Viking with a Greek mentor, she could totally get the Amazon skin, and maybe the mythological creatures from the battlepss are the Halloween event this year?

imo, mongolian should be part of wulin since china accepted their rule back then during the mongolian golden era and called it the yuan dynasty.

But who knows, if the hero is fun or cool looking I'd gladly throw away my predisposition towards it.
Then again it would be very weird to try and tie in a Wu-Lin hero skin with a random Greek amazonian queen, who knows. We'll hopefully get some more clues or leaks in the coming months 👍
@commanderslap6656 Slap, I'm right there with you. Something's not adding up, but like another comment someone made, Penthesilia could be the VG skin that we saw she was getting during the WD. That would make sense as much as no one is asking for a VG skin rn 😂.
That being said Mulan inspired hero, could be on the table. That's why I mentioned in the vid, I'm not completely sold but this clues have to mean something. I hope it's the hero skin for VG and we can just continue to speculate on the Wu Lin tie going forward. Keep the faith on the Mulan-inspired hero.

I would like a Boudicca inspired Brythonic hero
My idea is that she as two weapons a spear and a sword, that she switches between
The spear being less risky and more for chipping down and wearing your opponents out
The sword being more aggressive but comes at a higher stamina cost , It would add a cool new way to play with the stamina bar, treating it more as a resource than ever before
For Fashion you could do loads
Brythonic nobles were know too wear Chainmail
You could have lots of war-paint
and then lots of furs and hides also potentially some design elements from other factions because it was known that Celtic warriors would take armour from fallen opponents

@braeden06 Outlanders will be officially caught up with the Wu Lin after Y8S4. If there's not a Wu Lin hero in Y9 of For Honor, everyone should boycott 😂 But seriously they should. Has to be a Wu Lin hero in Y9.

If the next one isn’t Greek the one after 100% will be. I think Outlanders is a way for them to add the suggest heroes that don’t fit the original roster and once they’re done adding them the game will begin to go quiet going into year 10.

I always thought that if they were going to continue the trend of gender exclusive heroes, it would only make sense to have one of them based on the Amazons, the most famous group of female warriors.
Though I don't think we'll get another axe hero, since the last female hero did have it. I'm guessing that if it's an Amazonian, they will have a Kopis/Xiphos sword paired with a Hoplon shield.

Ofc, it definitely could be and like mentioned in ep 1 of Outlander speculation, I do think if they go Mongolian it will be Khutulun inspired, especially with the Khan connections. @scottstevens7155 🤣 Still a lot to happen. I'm not sold on this being the next hero, just pointing out findings as we lead up to it. If this hero was the next hero, it would be a deviation from how theyve been introducing heroes and with two more skins left, that's not likely.
It's fun speculation and just crazy if how this aligned was all coincidence. I expect that Wu Lin skin to matter. We just need to see how? Once the VG skin drops, we may know a bit more. The Wu Lin will be the biggest tell. Thanks for watching! 🫡

@kushgohil15000 Do you have a hero from Indian descent that you had in mind? Some of there heroes play off a other historical figures or mythology from the past. It may be on the radar and we don't even know it!
@MisterArdor My ancestry is from the Rajput warriors and Maratha warriors so figures like Maharana Pratap, Rana Sanga, Chatrapati Shivaji, Peshwa Bajirao, etc would be completely applicable. There are also the Sikh warriors and their figures.
Indian weaponry is very unique such as the dand patta (gauntlet sword), katar (punch dagger), urumi (whip sword), khanda sword, haladie (double bladed recurve dagger) and so on. A hero character with one or multiple of these would play very differently than previously seen. Come on Ubisoft!
@kushgohil15000 Extremely unique and oozing potential. Just think of the possibilities a urumi could have in the game. As for, Maharana Pratap, he used a spear and khanda from the little I read since you mentioned him and even the khanda would be an excellent addition. I do think it’s a bit too weird that Roman went to the knights twice and the Greeks would go to the outlanders, and especially with a Wu Lin skin? They have done a skin vs. new hero every time since skins became a thing so, I just don’t see how they could theme a Wu Lin skin to fight a Greek warrior and have it make sense. They tried Viking vs Egypt and everyone agrees that’s the worst skin (for the most part) so I don’t see them doing that again… these are interesting coincidences though, but maybe it’s just to give more Varangian themed stuff to the Viking faction? Since she’s not as “Scandinavian” as some of the others? Idk lol
@thecakesnake The Viking/Raider - Medjay and Knight/BP - Afeera tie ins were pretty suspect. They've done better with the Viking/Highlander - VG and Samurai/Orochi - Sohei tie ins.
I'm with you, Snake, on how they tie the hero skins into the next hero and mentioned this in the last Outlander hero vid ep1. These clues just had me wondering. Someone commented that she could be used as inspiration for the VG skin that's coming next and that makes sense. The only thing that doesn't is the weapon. If Penthesilia uses a double-axe are they simply going to have her use the same axe as Katla/VG?
I hope Penthesilia will be the upcoming VG skin vs anything further because if she is, that means they are sticking with their script and are giving us much more to speculate on going forward! @@MisterArdor y’know what, that would actually be sick - especially if they did new voice and a slight model adjustment like they did with the S1 Ezio skin this yeah - and I didn’t even think about this till now but the knights got Greek weapons in the battle pass as well. You can really see the Greek pillar inspiration on the Lawbringer pole axe, and the manticore design choice - a Greek and Persian creature. So with VG being a Greco Roman and middle eastern inspired Viking with a Greek mentor, she could totally get the Amazon skin, and maybe the mythological creatures from the battlepss are the Halloween event this year?
