Thank you for sharing this story to the modern world👍
Ofcoarse nowdays it is now longer a rumour but a fact that Leif Eriksson and the Vikings sailed to America 500 years before Columbus 🇧🇻🇸🇪🇩🇰

The Vikings were living in New Foundland Canada in the 12th century. Just visit the Canadian civilization museum in Ottawa to see all the dated artifacts that proves it. Their man mated with indigenious women, their DNA is still in the local indian population.

True. They were there since over ten thousand years ago too.

      Don't call them "Indian".
      Please erase the bad heritage.
These people are Asians. Or if u feel it is weird to call them Asian, just call them native American.

@@DBT1007 Indians are Asian though. 🤔

      What's wrong with Indian?
Didn't we refer to the indigenous people of America as Indians? I would be proud if I was of Indian descent. 🤷

I grew up with a friend who was Indian and he would let us know he was proud of his heritage.

Starting a crowd-funding to get the ship sailing again. Would like not to just save this ship, but build several others to sail back across the Atlantic to complete the voyage.

@@VidarrKerr That would be awesome 👌 can we raid on the way? J/K but I would support this.

@@stehfreejesseah7893 I need to get footage of the ship as it currently sits. The entire ship needs to be assessed, but I am very far from Chicago. It is frustrating because I am from Michigan and the ship was there just a few hours drive. Now, it is a ten hour flight.
If I could find someone (an architect, or builder ideally) in Chicago to go document the ship, that would be awesome. Otherwise, I have to wait until next summer.
I have the promo video started, but without knowing the actual condition of the ship, it is difficult to start raising money.

Clearly the Vikings discovered America for the Europeans. What I wonder is how their encounters with native Americans was received and went.

    • @vladriot510
      @vladriot510 3 ปีที่แล้ว

We know Vikings were in America over 400 years. So even though they were not exactly friends with the natives, they made it work with them somehow. Through trade. Maybe even Marriage

Talk about bad ass?!!? That ship is incredible! Smh
Im astonished that America still gives credit to Columbus for its' discovery when theres been substantial evidence that he was likely the LAST explorer to "discover" America 😂lmdao cmon man!!! EVERYBODY discovered America bfor columbus did😂🇺🇸❤lmao
Even China was here bfor he was. Not just THAT but columbus didnt step foot in America-EVER! His homies did but he never touched r soil, not even once! Yet he gets credit for discovering America😂
The Vikings landed here bfor columbus, the chinese were here ...some red haired european tribe even lived by the colorado river bfor columbus arrived smh. Another guy w a posse tried setting up shop in california 30-45yrs bfor columbus did too...EVERYBODY was here before Chris was😂lmao but hey...let's just give the credit to the guy who never placed even microscopic dna anywhere on r land (correction--the Natives land)?🤯😆🤪🤯smdh lol sounds like somebody's tryna hide sumthin to me!
But who m i? Lol my thoughts n opinions dont matter...nor do yhe scientists who proved other ppl were here bfor C.C😂👊❤🇺🇸lol
