I know there's a HUGE RV community in Lake Havasu AZ for "snowbirds". I worked for a couple that bought a lot in the town 8 miles from me in North Central Wyoming and set it up for their "summer lot" when they were up there..
If you need to get that old TV out, try rotating it in position - a lot are wider across the screen, then they are deep. Newell would love the coverage you're giving their products, showing the quality, and how they can appeal to a younger buyer, wouldn't be too surprised with all the sporting youtubers, if the secondhand market gets a bit of a boost. That decision to buy one without sliders,.. as someone whose had to deal with maintenance for broadcast trucks, you chose correctly :)
I came for the 1700 RWHP Escalade (because PFI Fam), I've stayed for Newell Coaches, who knew! I think 2020 has broken me... Mitch, if I hadn't started by watching the Newell factory tour, not sure I'd have had any interest in this. I think it's the engineering and functionality that gets me (Step cover, mind blown). Plus the neat features. Dude, if only you knew how cool those Star Trek doors are (to a bloke my age). I sat here wondering how to rig up an IR sensor to trigger that centre door! 🇬🇧
There’s a lot of crossover. All us car guys share a fascination for unique machines and cool technology when it comes to stuff with wheels 😂 I found myself equally surprised
The zebra print rules! This Newell looks solid and well-cared for, but most top-line coaches are. Newells seem to be at another level for build quality, though. You got a great rig, take car of it an it will most likely outlast you.

Been here from the beginning and I was actually at the first real streetcar takeover in Bristol to see one of the first real shake down runs. But I for one have been enjoying the fact that you share the real life experience 9f what you are doing. I praise you for getting where you are based on what you feel is what is meant to be. Zebra print and 4 out of 5 is a huge win. So you are perfect with keeping it as is.

Years ago I used to sometimes go with him in his 1959 narrow nosed Peterbilt Model 351 to load and haul alfalfa hay from Lancaster California back to Artesia California. I loved that old truck with its Cummins NH 220 Diesel and five and three transmission set up. Fun old truck1
If you have open leds in the rv you can get cheap difuser strips that spread and soften the light. I have leds in my room i wish i wouldve gotten them when i set mine up

The zebra cushions are the bomb. Like the time tunnel cushion too. Non slide units are bargains and have less to go wrong. Our bus has 3 slides and so far so good. In a 14 year old bus there is always something to attend to.
Yep and for one person it’s really all I need. Would I like one with slides in the future? Absolutely. But right now that’s just one less thing to worry about while I focus my energy on things that produce
I used to repair yacht engines. There was a guy I worked with that always had to drop a rope while we were working on some customer's boat. I used to tell him 'test it before you use it' because once he did and it wouldn't flush (he left it like that eurgh), and the customer called our boss pretty upset, and made him go take care of it. After that, any time he had to, he'd go use the head, he'd test it first, and I'd surreptitiously flip the circuit breaker off while he pinched one off.😂 I'd hear him cursing in there, I did that several times before he caught on.

Being someone who works in the entertainment industry and is always on Prevost entertainer coaches I don’t think people understand how well-built actual coaches are I see people spending well over 100 grand on Big motorhomes And it’s always crazy to me because they’re not built nearly as well as a Prevost or One of these

My parents have an '04 Winnebago with broken slides. Even Winnebago doesn't have control box to replace the broken one. Slides suck to crank in when they break.
The dump valve system happened to a bus going over the Mississippi River ,now that was a crappie thing ,you should have a light on dash telling ya your valve is open Newall loved lights
You will never fix all of your air leaks. You also can run a 12-volt wire with a fuse and toggle switch to your engine brakes. The "T" on your air line fitting for your seat meant someone had a air nozzle on there at one time to blow the dust off the gauges
Every thing was built better back then. Like it with out slides less problems. There was also less to break back then. Like the inside better than the new one.
*Proceeds to forcefully beat on numerous cabinets and counter-tops for about 7 minutes...* "Yea, the build-quality on this thing is pretty good!!" 🤣13:51 I'm not sure how often you close that bedroom door that hits the PVC elbow pipe that you put into the A/C vent.... just angle the rear PVC towards the front of the coach, and then angle the front PVC towards the rear of the coach. That way, they would still be angled and you wouldn't be need to worry about moving the rear PVC every time you wanted to close that door.
Only in America !, Nothing like that in the UK unless in the Film/entertainment industry. All our Moterhomes are either Van based (Ford Transit/Mercedes Sprinter etc) or a German made Motor Coach style . We can only dream of these!.

I have a 2000 Monaco Dynasty with two slides and I can still do everything with both in. Upgrade your batteries and put some solar on it and you have to run generator in less it's hot like where you're at now.
I’ve considered solar. I can run the fridge on the batteries for at least 8 hours. So if I could get to 12 hours that’d be legit. I’m rarely away from it for more than 12 hours in a normal day
Where’s the stripper pole? Seriously, isn’t it a law that if you have zebra printed seating areas that you must have a stripper pole? Up here in Canada, you could get some serious time for missing a stripper pole. Lol
In the owners manual: "Dumping your holding tank" is talking about the fresh water not the waste water. You would have many reasons to dump your fresh water....like weather below 0 degrees or repairs that requires the tank to be empty and so on. Dumping waste water is dangerous and illegal even in the 90s.
@@Stapleton42does the fresh water tank go straight to the waste water side without having to run fresh water down the drain? My pull behind Coachman has a one way valve that goes straight to the waste side. I guess to rinse it out. But I set up one of my two tanks as a ''flushing tank''. I had 2 fresh and 1 waste also....I think thats strange. But I used the waste tank to collect only toilet waste. One of my fresh water tanks became the drain tank from showers and sinks. That is used for my supply tank to my toilet flushing water and the toilet flush drains to the OG waste tank. I had my ''drain tank'' set up so I could dump it without having the waste tank being used. Also I put in a regular size toilet and shower. The shower is a step down that gives me room above my head. Love the videos

Considering all of its previous owners, this rig has literally had a checkered past! It's a pedigreed vehicle that should command twice its worth, because of its famous ex-owners. Think about what one of Elvis' old Cadillacs is worth to one of his fans. The same could be said for this RV's desirability to some NASCAR fans who like to camp on site at the racetrack. Does the dinette convert into a bed?

Considering all of its previous owners, this rig has literally had a checkered past! It's a pedigreed vehicle that should command twice its worth, because of its famous ex-owners. Think about what one of Elvis' old Cadillacs is worth to one of his fans. The same could be said for this RV's desirability to some NASCAR fans who like to camp on site at the racetrack.
