I am so thrilled to listen to this video of D.K.Pattammal’s musical journey narrated by her daughter in law and the grand daughter. As a young girl growing up in the musical world in Chennai I had a fortune to attend many of her concerts. Indeed she continues to be a legend. Whenever I visited Chennai, many times when I passed through her house in SriNagar colony where my parents were living, I used to think why can’t I knock at her door and get her blessings. During one of my visits to Chennai from Canada I met Nithyasri in a saree store. She is such a simple, sweet, humble and friendly person and I was so impressed. The friendliness and humility run in the family.God bless. Thank you for such a nice interview.💐
Our family as a whole love ShriMmathi DKP ‘S singing.We had been to her house and my sister sang in front her,and she appreciated her singing.I also felt very happy to see her and we all had her blessings also.My brother in law was great admirer of Shri.DKP Amma.

I only wish the Interviewer did not interject & interrupt the flow so often - she often cuts them off with questions halfway through an anecdote being related by them. It is really annoying but full credit to the subjects of the interview - they presented DKP the person in the round, in all her attributes & qualities.

Lalitha mam has not given much interview she has come out and telling interesting thing about her mother in law. We should allow her to tell more about DKP amma because she only knows about her much. So this is the opportunity to talk about DKP amna besides musuc. She was telling in a flow. But this anchor is interrupting her a lot. We will not get this opportunity again because lalitha mam had travelled with DkP amma. Better than her noone knows. We should allow her to soeak. Because lalitha mam is also getting older. So this is the right opportunity we have missed it. Very irritating anchor
