We are back and Thomas is back! :D And more videos are coming the following weeks, so make sure to subscribe and stay tuned! And thanks to Aputure for giving us this opportunity, shooting a music video for Thomas. Check out the Aputure 1200X here: bit.ly/storm1200x And make sure to follow Thomas Leypoldt on TH-cam for the final music video: www.youtube.com/@ThomasLeypoldt
Thank you Anders and team for your work on the music video. Such beautiful cinematography by Mathias, otherwordly lighting by Leander and wonderful directing and vision by Anders. FYI: My album will be released in 2025, but first I will release one of the songs a single and that is going to be this very song and music video :)
Thomas, you have NO idea how much emotional impact your music has made in the life’s of modern day filmmakers. I started my journey 10 years ago, and every time I hear your music, it brings back memories of my early film making days finding inspiration. Thank you 🙏
@@The-Logician I´m very excited to show you the full song, even though the Norwegian lyrics might be tricky to sing along to! But then again, you have been to Norway a couple times now, so maybe you are fluent in the language by now? ;) Wish I could have been with you guys at the WS2024!
Thomas Holds alot of nostalgia in this channel..He is multi talented and extremely down to earth guy..We missed him alot and feels amazing to se him again..The OG andyax feel in this video
Anders, your work is absolutely stunning. I owe my career to you and the team for all the inspiration, dedication and amazing tutorials and reviews you have shared. You made it possible for people like me to make their dreams of filmmaking a reality. Thank you.
I’ve been watching you guys since I picked up a camera a while ago. Ironically picked up this kit and stumbled onto this video. Always so inspiring guys!
This Aputure light is a bigger step-up than many realize. Afaik, it's the first commercial "white" light LED fixture to include an equally powerful (near-)UV emitter (405nm in this case). Why is this important? Well, sunlight covers a very wide spectrum of light, but... we don't see UV light, right? So why should we waste money on having UV emitters in LED lighting fixtures? While we don't see UV light itself, there are many materials around us, which fluoresce. This means that upon reflecting, the UV light "morphs" into violet/blue light that we can see. This is for example how laundry detergents work that make your white clothes look "whiter than white". As such, many materials look different under sunlight vs a LED fixture. But much less so with the new Aputure STORM 1200X.
Nice and mind-capturing video as always! Andyax is always able to capture my mind and thoughts for some minutes when he makes a video, and that's something I really, really appreciate :)
Love watching your videos, sooo well made & informative ♥️ Me, personally, I would've added in the waterfall sound a touch with the intro to the music video. Felt a bit disconnected from the video without the water sound....even if it was drastically faded out, some little sound would sound great 👍
Nice work, really nice. Being able to extend exterior shoot times in this way, on a budget, is a big deal. With a second 1200x for fill, one could extend it even further. really looking forward to delivery of mine.
alternative title fo this video "How to create sunset and moon light in any location with one light | The new Aputure 1200X" alternative thumbnail fo this video "A split screen showing sunset look and moonilight shot.."one light aputure 1200x" I would click fast on this title and thumbnail..Just a suggestion...as a viewer and a long time subscriber
as someone who doesnt a own a single piece of lighting geat , whats the smallest light i should consider for both indoor and outdoor work ? 150w enough ( i guess thats the highest i can get battery powered ) or should i pony up for a 300w and figure out how do i power that thing. i will get some small ameran ace 25Cs for ambient lighting either way for indoor shots

What a nice comment. Thanks for sharing 😊
Amazing work guys! Congratulations!!
It must be so relaxing to be able to control the light like that on a shoot. When I film during sunset I'm always very stressed and in a rush.
Good to see Thomas back here. Awesome use of the light...you inspire me to do more every time I watch. Can't wait for Thomas' single either 😀
The music video is impressive already, but being able to create such an engaging and complementary BTS video is even cooler. Great video!
Fantastic work! This light blows me away every day.
love this content! been following for alot of years, always impressed when i check back in

How did you power it outdoors. I plan to pick one up this month.
With two EcoFlow DeltaPro batteries, as mentioned in the video :)
@@Andyax awesome I saw they were on sale. Exciting
I wish you would have talked about how you powered it on location.......
@@aaronjonellhall1937 I did ;)
Eyyy, good to see Thomas! This looks sick, I doubt my SL100Bi can be this effective, but I gotta try, right? 🤣
