@@RyanWhelan-234 he should’ve been sacked December last year. He’s got this far on past achievements and club legend status. I respect him for everything he’s done for the club and my best days following Carlisle are because of him but he’s on borrowed time right now. Im Carlisle I wanted Paul Simpson out since December we were only 3 points safety going into January window the first half of last season was enough evidence that Paul Simpson wasn’t good enough to be league 1 manager & not proven himself to be league 1 manager it’s a shame that our owners listened to the Paul Simpson poster boys of course Paul Simpson been a legend for us but my eyes didn’t lie to me fans will always blame the players well Simpson still continue to pick them & he should’ve been sacked after the natural disaster last season not having this bs that weren’t good enough to stay up they were teams that stayed up in league 1 who are trash & got away with it who will be relegated this season. Paul Simpson has to be under pressure this season for me he needs to start august quickly & well otherwise he should be sacked I still want him gone even if we go back up cause he’s not league 1 proven manager I know that’s controversial but I have standards don’t accept mediocrity like majority of our fans living in past. We are in the present & I believe Simpson is past his sell by date we have good enough players but Simpson made them trash last season which is my worry going into the season for me we should be expected to be top 3 especially under piataks and we started the season like that btw it’s all ok saying we actually didn’t play badly it was 4 gifts but was same old shit from last season whole coaching staff are atrocious if we keep Simpson our season is over already
