Great video and cool outdoor audio project! We are in California too. Would love to collab on a video project with you guys if you ever need weatherproof Sonos Arc, Beam, Sub, Five, or One speakers. We carry them with a 2-year warranty. Let me know and keep up the great work! - Aaron
Nice video but we didn't get hear the system working
Did you daisy chain all the speakers on 1 or are you doing separate runs for each?
Id like to ask a question. I am installing the cables for my 8.1 Sonance in the same LRLRLRLR format on 14/4 DB. Is it okay to have a loose pair of red black conductors once the last speakers are connected? I have a yard with a concrete pool deck and stone stairs so I have 2 sets of cable running 4 speakers each coming out of my amplifier....
why didn't you run the feeds in conduit? I have had landscapers cut or short at least 90 % of the outdoor systems I've installed. Also, how long were your runs? from the video it looks like dropping to thicker 12 guage wire would have been prudent?
Great video . I bought the 6.1 and honestly I’m not very happy with the system. Can you notice a huge difference between the 6.1 and the 8.1 .
The 6.1 sound distorted with some songs at 70% or higher
are you using a crappy or underpowered amplifier, what gauge wire did you run?
Called Sonos with no luck. Trying to hookup the Sonance system(Sono amp) to a Epson 3800 projector for outdoor movies. The sonos amp would be 50-60ft away from projector. How would i get sound from projector to sono amp? They said i couldn't run an hdmi cable that far. Is there anyway to get signal from amp to projector wireless? If not what would you suggest?
Was going to buy the Sonance garden series 6.1 which comes with sono amp
@@dirtboy1640 You need a processor such as a stereo/home theater receiver to hook your projector into. Then you can send the audio from the receiver to the Sonos amp via RCA cable.
@daveb2830 figured out i could just use appleTV and airplay2...no wires
Video ends??? Hello
