Same here me and my sister usually have fights over who's better Kurt Cobain or Corey Taylor since my sister is a big Nirvana fan and I'm a big Slipknot fan and even if my sister doesnt admit it Corey is by far a way more talented vocalist.
I went there when the festival was called Donnington Monsters of Rock, back in 1992. So much fun, but now I am older the conditions just seem unsanitary, and even the thought of walking around a muddy field (knowing that the swamp you are wading through is mostly human piss), and standing ankle deep in it, shoulder to shoulder with sweaty, smelly, drunk people fills me with dread. I have always had an incredible time at the festivals I went to though.
Everyone wants to see a video reaction. It doesn't matter if they are slipknot fans or knot. People were hoping this person would watch the performance and have a reaction. She can't shut up about herself more than 10 seconds and no one cares enough to tell her Can someone please tell her, people want to see the slipknot performance, not her.
5:13 - I've watched many reactions to this performance, but no one else has asked the profound question: " Why are we staring at this guy's asshole". LOL You cracked (unintentional pun) me up so many so many times in this video, but this killed me... I just never have any idea what you're going to say. Thanks again for the reaction, rant, (maybe yours should be called "Rantactions"?), and entertainment.
I've been going to festivals by my self for the last decade. I often stay sober, you know Murtaughs law. But I do still love it and miss it like hell right now. I've got 4 ticets lying here just waiting for covid to disappear. Oh and by the way. You are not ruining the video. You're the reason the vids are good, funny och joyable =) Stay Safe Yaz!
Slipknot were the bollocks, I was in to Deftones, Taproot, Slipknot, Less Than Jake, Disturbed, Blink 182, Pantera etc (my Skate days) , as I got older I moved in to Jump Up and now Riddim but always come back to my metal
You commentary regarding festivals was very interesting. And as an older viewer I can quite relate. My last festival involved Metallica, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Deftones so that should give you a clue how long ago that was. :)
Yaz: I don’t know what Coreys saying Me: singing every word of it 😂 I totally agree with you about festival, your so entertaining, can’t wait for another! 🤘
You’re a gem and adorable. The festival life is such a crap shoot of the human experience, especially on (insert chemical here). This was much of my late teens
Smirks and Smiles. You can call it aging or "Festivals, A Chapter in the Life of Yaz". Bottom Line, You're Here to Share the Stories. Thank You and Enjoy the Rest of Your Weekend : )
I'm late to your channel but you mentioned female fronted bands in one of your other videos, and you've obviously seen Jinjer and Spiritbox but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKYND!!! They are sort of true crime industrial metal...maybe? But the videos are absolutely nuts too. You will freak out but I'm sure you'll appreciate the art they produce. Looking forward to seeing your reaction.
You gotta watch Gogol Bordello playing Baro Foro live in Axis Mundi! They put on the craziest live shows I’ve ever seen live and Axis Mundi is the best representation of it :)
Ooooohh, this has always been a fun video to watch, even if you are kinda numb to the experience it’s still pretty cool But if you want some official music videos, definitely check out Nero Forte by them😊
LOL you look like a red haired sorceress with your cloak like hoodie. And back to the music. I am not that big of a fan of SlipKnot but it was fun to see the crowd get in to it. Great review as always. ☠️!ROCK ON!☠️ Ps I LOVE the suicide girls all the tattoos, body piercing, fun colored hair and of course the T&A .... I am so impressed. You are a bad ass Yaz!😎
Love Yaz rants! But I know exactly what you're talking about. I was a huge fan of Warped Tour, until I started playing it... then all of a sudden it became a huge chore, REEEEALLY quickly.
This is aging I was born on 1992 as well and feel the same. I went camping at the Rock am Ring festival in Germany for 8 years in a row. In '17, '18, '19 I went there without camping, all by myself and ran into people I knew everyday. Spent the concerts with them and went home again. It's just not worth it anymore with all new rules for the camping sites. No open fire, no glass bottles, no fuel powered generators allowed anymore. So I'm just going for thr concerts and cut the bullshit out.
I don't do drugs, and though I drink (rarely now due to work more than anything), I've never gone to a show drunk as I want to remember the show. And then have to drive home. I was never a big fan of enormous crowds in hot or nasty weather. I don't like them in good conditions. The last show I went to where I had to stand the whole time was my friends' band's 21st Anniversary, 3rd CD Release, Last Show Ever. After standing more or less in place for almost three hours, I could barely walk to my car as my knees had locked up. Forget getting down on my knees. That is getting older. When I saw Coheed and Cambria with Mastodon and Every Time I Die at the Greek, I was able to periodically sit at least. Sometimes Coachella sounds cool because of the band's, but hell no to the heat and crowds and too often half tge bands I want to see are playing different stages at the same time. Your reactions are a lovely mess. Don't watch while too tired or you will get lost in the subject changes. ;) Speaking of getting old, I refuse to accept that I was 23 when you were born as my birthday was two weeks ago, tomorrow. Ugh. My friend got lightly burned at a show. The Pyro was too close to his drum kit during Katy Perry's Superbowl show.
Sometime in a long distant future, My request for LILIAC will be played. If you're not familiar with this band ,it's made up of brothers and sisters That are gifted musicians, highly technically proficient and.... 3 out of the 5 are still teenagers, what? I will wait patiently
Your reaction to this video was hilarious. Not sure if you making guitar riff sounds or stories were funnier, but funny shit nonetheless 🤘🤘 This show let's you see Zero Bullshit at epic level. Paul Gray was still alive here too. Love shows he is still rockin out in the Knot. 11 years gone this month. RIP Check out Psychosocial, Heretic Anthem, Duality, People = Shit. They all rock! Cant wait to see more from you 🤣🤘🤘
was there at this gig about 25m from the stage and after the first jump i didnt touch the ground for the next minute my apologies to everyones feet i jumped on haha , also what clubs did you do work at ?
Love your banter on the videos. Keep up the great work! Slipknot designs their own masks which change with every tour. They do have to be approved by the band so they don't have some shit masks but they are great in concert. I've seen them 8 times and had to rest for a couple days after lol
Once you get older people's tolerance for stupid sh#t goes down. Something better be something super special for me to put up with an outdoor festivals amount of crap. Eventually even your own body will not put up with it. The older you get the more likely that wild night where you drink yourself blind your body makes you feel it for a week afterword. I've done it. I felt like I was mildly hungover for a week. It took two weeks to feel normal again.
Yupp, Slipknot is never wrong. Festival mem'ries ... somehow similar, just with different bands, lol (Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth ......). :-D Always fun to watch your weekly vid, even if you are in a gritty mood. :-D
@Yaz Reacts you are such an adorable and beautiful woman! I can't help but smile when I watch you. My heart skipped a beat when I first found your uploads. You strike me as someone who is easy to get along with. I love when people are happy. Life is too short to be negative all the time.
Structures just came out with a new song after a dumb amount of time away from music. You should react to it!!!! Its called planet of garbage. Slapper. If not that do like the music video for one by metallica because its super emotional and I'd love to see a react. ❤
"Do you reckon he's ever shagged the eyehole of his own mask?" 😂 It's probably a question he has answered..... Being the crowd for 'Spit it Out' is intense, do it someday! I did it at Giants Stadium a long time ago and Metallica closed, it was insane. The DJ was crowdsurfing and punching people in the face for trying to pull his smelly mask off 😁 I get your thing with festivals though...it's in the past...we old. I couldn't imagine going as a lady and just getting all the predatory weirdos around you. You aren't wrong. I just wandered around as random guy and no one messes with you, but you see a lot of gross things happening to other people.
You're not wrong. My last festival was rockfest in KC in 2016. It was amazing but I'm over the crowds and blah blah. I prefer good ole inside concerts. Not as much Meth in those. 🤣
Hello Ms yaz how are you doing today can I ask you a question y today music like Pop and rap music is trash. I listen to K-pop and rock music All the way I wish we can go back to the 90s and 80s 70s 60s
