What are the differences in the perks between an infantry officer and support arm officer....
Both officers have same basic pays and allownces but infantry and any other combat officer get more allownces and they also get more combat exposure which means chances to earn badges and medals

Officers are important but it doesn't mean that Soldiers / JCOs value gets reduced. They are equally important. Shubham is telling that a soldiers thinks "jyada se jyada Subedar Saab ban jayenge". What u want to prove? Many examples are available of defence forces where JCOs and Soldiers have shown Exemplary Courage in battle field. Pls JCOs / Soldiers ki value mat kam kijiye. Whether it is Officer/JCO/Soldier, they are first Soldier and should have same courage and leadership quality.

Soldiers knows that they can and will become JCOs in their service period and can't become Officer until they get thru commissioned process. and I think that a Soldier can't become an Officer until they have complete OLQ. But again I will repeat, everyone whether it is O/J/S, they should have Courage and Leadership Quality, CLQ.
