CUSTOMER REQUESTED ACCESSORIES
In response to customer feedback, Polaris Slingshot is introducing two new factory accessories for 2023. Slingshot adds convenience with a RAM® X-Grip Phone Mount and an Excursion Rearview Mirror, which will be available in spring 2023. The new Slingshot cell phone mounts to the center of the Slingshot dash - offering easy viewing and accessibility.
ENHANCED INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM
Slingshot’s available 7-inch Touchscreen Display powered by RIDE COMMAND further enhances the user experience. Along with key vehicle information, the available integrated infotainment system offers mobile phone connectivity via Bluetooth® and USB. Drivers can seamlessly access Apple CarPlay®, along with turn-by-turn GPS navigation with connected services - which is standard on R models, but available via accessory upgrade for other RIDE COMMAND-equipped models.
MORE CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS THAN EVER BEFORE
With more than 50 new premium painted accessories available, owners have even more options than ever to personalize their Slingshot. Whether adding color-matched painted parts or contrasting with pops of color, owners can design their ride with accessories like the Slingshade top, Rear Fender, Exterior Painted Accents, Belt Guard and Front Grille. In addition, owners can add convenience and comfort by adding the Excursion Top, RAM® X-Grip Phone Mount, or a variety of integrated storage bags.
When building their ride on the Slingshot website, customers have several configuration options - making each vehicle assembled at the Slingshot factory personalized for each customer. After selecting their preferred model, paint color, transmission type, and either the sporty manual or accessible AutoDrive transmission, customers can pick and choose between different wheels, seats, and hoods. For example, any Slingshot model can be outfitted with
the aggressively designed Vented Sport Hood or add Heated and Cooled Seats. In addition, customers can choose to upgrade select models by adding Aluminum Roll Hoops, adding XK Glow® Interior Lighting, or enhancing their sound with Stage 3 Audio by Rockford Fosgate®, which integrates speakers into the roll hoops placed directly behind each seat’s headrest. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I am loving my 2023 Slingshot R so far. So fun to drive.
How much is the monthly payment and Insurance
I love my 2018 Slingshot. I got mine used (in 2019) and after aftermarket add one: Soft top. Smaller “D shaped” Steering wheel and a round shift knob. 5-speed forever! It was my retirement present to myself. I added the Bilstein shocks and a heavy duty anti sway bar. My first job when I left active duty as an army captain in 1984 was selling Ferraris in Miami Florida (my home town). The 2018 Slingshot handles as well as a Ferrari 308 GT. The original Magnum PI car! I love the auto correct steering. If you get too squirrely with the throttle taking a left from a light and the rear starts to drift out just lift your foot off the throttle and it snaps back. Now we’ve retired from South Florida to East Tennessee. I don’t like the helmet requirements do I got the law modified here. Now, if you’re over 25 in an autocycle (Slingshot) you’re exempt from helmet regulations. The law was HB234 signed in 2021.

R would be where I would go but the windshield needs to be higher or at the very least able to rise and lower like on the Indian touring models. Where it sits standard is extremely awkward or maybe it’s just my height. It’s in the line of sight really bad

Definitely not worth 40k. Its a stretch to 23k. No mpg nor fuel capacity. No storage options. Ignorance is the heart of marketing plastic toys.

I love these things but way TOO EXPENSIVE. $20/$25k was the sweet spot.
They got too expensive. Glad i bought used.
I thought polaris used a GM ecotech engine.
Used to until Polaris developed their own.
Did the factory integration of accessories suddenly start with the 2023, because my 2022 was supposed to have that but didn't. Also my preferences in color for my stage 3 audio was swept out the door and substituted, because it was close to the body color, wanted red, got dark gray. Dealership installed all the accessories that were supposed to be factory integrated, bags, stage 3 audio and the Brembo brakes, all dealer installed. Don't believe the load of BS out of this guy. Hard to believe that a US Naval nuclear officer has lost his integrity and now lies for a living. I love my slingshot, but just be aware of the wait times and make sure you get what you order and don't believe the factory integration line.
Why does it matter if the upgrades were installed at the dealer or the factory?
Just another part of the excessive wait times imposed. You are already putting brakes on the car, why not put the right ones on at the factor. You already have to put the roll hoops and covers where the stage 3 speaker kit is going, why not do it right at the factory. I'm just not impressed with the whole, "new vehicle" process that Polaris has put out. For the money they can do a lot better.
