@@tony4534 Before TP, small PGs finishing in traffic against bigs, spinning around them wasn't common. He influenced the way Kyrie, Steph, Trae, Kemba are playing
@@nestoreims Even after Tony Parker it’s not common. No modern pg finishes in the paint close to the rate Tony Parker did. Every pg playing today uses the 3 as their primary weapon. That’s the opposite of TP’s game. You watch too many highlights.
Parker is extremely underrated. In my eyes, he's better than the likes of Chris Paul or Derrick Rose. Super effecient, played his role within the system perfectly, and rose up to the occasion to takeover when needed. Exactly what you needed from a championship caliber point guard.
agree 100%, he has been looked down a lot but he left the court with 4 rings, a final MVP trophy and a big big smile on his face. Buzzy & brave little hooper that's for sure
I’m from SA and that Big 3 era was incredible, especially Ginobili who was SA’s favorite player. While I can appreciate your praise for Parker, who was definitely underrated and fit the team perfectly, if we control for injuries, CP is better and Derrick Rose was on another level completely, but I wouldn’t have wanted either of those two over Parker because of the fit and those two would’ve commanded too much money meaning less money for good role players.
@@MrDuckman0852 maybe a better career ? the lad has 4 rings and got finals MVP. Derrick Rose played just a few good seasons and CP was never able to grad a title (not that it's his sole fault of course). So, pls scratch the "maybe" ;)
Basketball purist will kill me for this, but prime Tony Parker was better than Stockton. Parker could not be stopped, he moved into any spot he wanted, his spin move was money every time. Stockton was very good but predictable and in the playoffs that was a problem Parker had that jazzy unpredictability about him, combined with freakish body control.
🫵🏿🤦🏿♂️just no bra really can’t compare them to be honest Tony was more of a scoring point guard while John the don was all around🤙🏿id compare Tony to zeke
Better than Chris Paul, Steve Nash (Nash’s nose still remembers what TP’s defense was), and could put Kobe down on his ass. Only 6 times All Stars because the average american is biased and xenophobic. No showboating, no trash talk, just got the job done.
Most underrated PG in terms of influence he has in the modern NBA PGs
He was a great player but no modern pg plays anything like him.

Lay off the coke. He’s not better than cp3 at anything but finishing
Best little man paint scorer ever nobody close to
If the Spurs have a Tony Parker-like player, they would be a contender.
Tp doesn't get enough credit, but the Spurs fans know how great he was!
One of the best 360 moves ever.
Me: So Tony, how do you pay your mortgage?
Tony: Over cross, spin, ten times a night.
Bruh was so cold. Jfc.
