Equinox 600 Iron Bias FE/ F2 Settings - What I understand

- Hope this Helps others Understand the Fe and F2 Settings.
I myself have never used F2 as well watch the video And you will
find out why.. lol
One thing I forgot to mention is in Single Frequency Iron Bias you can not change or even go into that function.

Park runs next with F2 settings. Man I did pretty good with factory settings but wonder what I might have missed by rejecting the Iron. Who knows. I am silly little Man.. lol Thanks Cynthia .. Peace
Thanks for the info I am thinking about the 700 or legend. do not know which one i will pick yet!
The 700 only has Fe function. Might be the same as F2 on the 600 . As the 700 and 600 has a few differences in the Settings. I see good things with the Legend. Have not seen too many videos on the 700. But you know I use the 700. On the fence with the 700. But I like it a lot more then That Xterra Pro..

Thanks , Me too need to get out and use F2 settings also. Remember though F2 works better with all metal . Not sure myself But that is what I read in the Manual . Good Luck on your Adventure and thank you also for letting me know I did ok on the explaining of it.. Peace

WoW and I have noticed that the Equinox is a little more Complicated than the X-Terra Pro is and I did a factory reset on the Equinox and it's a Noisy Detector Now and the X-Terra Pro is just the opposite and I can just turn it on and go with it but now the Equinox really needs the update and I don't have a place that I can do The Minelab Equinox Program's Updates but I'm trying and If I go to the library I will have to pay for it but it's a More Complicated Detector than the X-Terra Pro and I would take 10 more X-Terras than the Equinox 600 but I think that once I get the update it will help out ALOT and Quicker to learn it but it's a Mess right now and then it's Too Hot 🥵🥵🥵🥵 to go detect and try to get to an understanding with the Equinox and I need to also get the information downloaded on it but it's not a easy detector like the X-Terra Pro is......
Not sure why your Equinox is a chatty detector the 600 has treated me well. The Xterra Pro on the other hand loves Bottle caps in all range of tones. Good Luck on updating your Nox.. Happy Hunting. Peace
@@ohdannyboyjustadiggin Well I can tell you that when the Equinox was bought new the original Owner never updated it and the guy that I got it from also never updated it and they had it setup and would make the aluminum foil tops sound off like iron and I don't have a clue yet on my way around the equinox and I Did the factory reset and lost it all but I guess ohh Well 🤔 and I will eventually get there.... but the X-Terra Pro I have only dug 1 Bottle Cap and I forgot to turn on and use the All Metal Mode on the X-Terra Pro once I found the target And I will hear the Iron Grunts, and on the tip of the coil and when I got the Jumpy VDI and will not lock in then it's a aluminum target and I just keep Walking On until I get to a Coin Numbers and I haven't checked yet on the Ring numbers that I have found with the Teknetics Detectors but the equinox is a totally different Detector than the X-Terra Pro is and I can just go with it and Detect once I ground balance and noise cancel it and I have only ground balanced about 6 times and I don't have to do it Everytime cause it will keep it At the last time I have done it, but At 0 Zero IT has nothing to go off of or anything to work with and then the jumpy VDI is very much present and so far I just left it on whatever the numbers that I was using on the last Hunt and I have lowered the sensitivity down Way under 20 and the ground is still wet here but it's too hot 🥵 and it will be going Dry Ground again and it may act up like that it did for you but I love it ❤️..... THE XTERRA PRO 👍
@@carolrice2063 More power to ya Buddy. It just not the detector for me. Some do not like it other do. I myself still need to learn the Ins and outs of the Nox's both 600 and 700. Hope when you get back out the Xterra Pro treats you well..
@@ohdannyboyjustadiggin it's not the X-Terra Pro that is giving me The Problem it's with the Equinox and it's not been updated since it was New and I like I have said before that I would take 10 more X-Terras than 1 Equinox 600 but it's going to get better once I get the chance to get the Update......

To be honest with you I have been running it in Factory settings the whole time I have used it. Other then Noise Cancel and adjusting sensitivity. But I will find out on a trip back to the beach.. Thanks for asking the Question.. Peace
