So glad to see another lesson! One year in, and I feel like I "know" a bit of TKD - I've followed these lessons and practiced what I've learned, and my balance and confidence in calisthenics are at a very marked improvement. Even things like the spinning back kick that felt awkward and forced at first now feel easy and almost natural; manipulating the body via the hips makes so much more sense, and in drilling the fundamentals I've attained a readiness to approach new techniques (often outside my comfort zone or skill level). About to move on to the Green Belt lessons, and glad to see even the Sensei/teacher loses balance and gets winded during the cardio segments lol
@@vip-or5pi This is mostly ITF, the more traditional form; sport TKD is cool in its own right, but with these courses we practice striking, grappling, and a few maneuvers that would certainly inure your opponent and so would never be allowed in WTF.
Hey @@hanburgundy4317, I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying my classes. You’re right that most of that wouldn’t be allowed in sport TKD, but the style that I teach is actually the kukkiwons WT(F) style. I’ve never actually done ITF. I just got done with the Kukkiwons master instructor course this week and the biggest focus was on being more realistic and transitioning away from a purely sport outlook. Keep training hard 💪
Please continue this session further.. we are waiting
