Need to change internal passport, British and Russian external passports, get marriage certificate translated at official translator, etc.. can’t Shongo take your name :P (do u actually have to change name in Japan cause you a foreigner within say 2-3 years? I know your mother is from Ukraine , and law has change recently so possibility if you have children, they could claim Ukrainian citizenship through your mother side. Also your British , and father connections. Assuming Japan allow dual citizenship (think they do) would advise claim all nationalities for child. Be very beneficial in years to come. Lastly if staying in Japan with child, speak English / Russian at home. Child learn Japanese from rest of family in Japan, TV, school etc. makes it easier later on for child to connect to your side of your family (talking from own experience here and other friends).
