Damn, I need to start learning lone druid now. Im decent at microing (BM is one of my most played heros), but i cant micro visage at all. Any tips guys for LD micro on immortal bracket?

that's what differentiate LD with other micro heroes.
other micro technique feels the same like other heroes..
OH! when u want to go backward/forward, try to learn NOT to click ground BETWEEN bear + hero as it makes them go to the middle, but learn more to click the outside of bear/hero.

My advice, just use ult right away when fighting else you get bursted. 2 second transformation time is really long. Most new lone druid players just use ult when they get gone on which is already too late. For micro, honestly its easier than BM, use bear to kill heroes, you watch from safe distance.

I usually skip mom, go corro>diff>harp then start buildign mjoll or AC or null if needed

what hotkeys are you using to micro lone / bear / both ?
Back when Speeed was still streaming, he uses F to toggle between hero and controlled units, and G for controlled units (doesn't encompass hero). This is convenient as the keys are near to each other so micro becomes easier

Why mask of mom instead of Vlads? I get the attack speed being huge but Vlads gives both hero and bear damage? Shouldn’t that be near equivalent, but you’d also benefit the rest of the team since you’re going super fighty?
Bonus attack speed with MoM active is just too broken for the bear as it doesn't need spells. It increases dps by a lot (very impactful when attacking buildings) but also chances of rooting which is super important. Vlad's aura is very appreciated but the Hero (not the bear) doesn't deal much damage from mid to late game so it's not really worth it in most of the games imo

@@arcanegxd97 well passive playstyle and micro-intensive. Its not all just the micro i also dont like luna because he kinda does the same thing just farms and farms and nothing flashy.
@@Jebu911 you know what, I've been actually playing lone druid for the past week and he's destroying everything on his way STARTING FROM THE EARLY GAME. All you need is fast diffusal blade and there you go. You farm heroes instead of creeps :)

i think 400 ms at lvl 4 is considered fast already, LD is not a ganking hero, so more likely pushing + they come to kill the ld or the bear.
So movement speed of bear is not the priority, (I guess?).
so.... money for boots probably invested into other items to reach faster power spike, imo.
Diffusal into echo sabre is really damn good and the movement speed is really not needed when you have diffusal at 8 mins. Most heroes dont have dispel at that point yet. At 16 mins you would have diffusal + harpoon, all the utility movement you would need on the bear.

Is it just me or someone else is ussing 2gloves of haste instead of madness for lonedruid, it's much cheaper and has stats.
If u wanna cheese dota for mmr points, pick LD. If you want to actually improve your dota fundamentals, pick normal, high tier heroes. LD takes 0 skill to lane, learn a real hero

@@parham1023 yep. However, for laning, LD is probably the most braindead hero. Takes absolutely 0 skill to get every deny and trade effectively.

The problem with londe druid is that the bear is just broken, its literally unkillable, even if 2 heroes really want to kill it they cant make it under 2 minutes in early game. So he can tank unlimited damage and harass unlimited damage - just broken. My advice for you guys if you want free mmr take it you will win like 55-60% games but it will get nerfed soon so enjoy till you can
It alway was like that. It's is killable though. But anyway the counter is to kill the hero. Something like Treant + pa can kill him easy in the early game. You need gap close + slow / stun. The hero can be caught out of position. And if the dies twice or dies afyer re summon bear it hugs grief.

It's a very hard hero still , your hero's positioning matters too much , the hero dies like a bot early on , and the bear does not do enough damage to threaten the enemy to kill , so you just die
It's because you just don't know how to play and counter LD. The bear is 25-30dmg at lv1, so it's literally 0 dmg before having an item or LD reach lv3-4, the main dmg source is from the main hero, so you can just ignore the bear and harass the hero. Even a LD player won't try to use the bear harassing the opponent if the root skill is on cd, since it's pointless unless the opponent is a morph with 2xx hp. When LD has 2 points in his 2nd skill, it's the time to shift the target to his bear, since the regen from the bear hit is pretty much now, and killing the hero is very hard unless you are bursting type or having someone coming to help ganking. This is the time you have enough dmg to kill the bear. Always hit the bear if you don't have any creeps under lasthit health to hit (if you're a range, melee will just ignore it and focus on lasthit), use skills to both secure lasthit and harassing the bear,...
LD at sidelane is the weakest LD, since 2 heroes are aiming at him, and skill 2 won't regen him enough from the dmg of 2 heroes. However, the support in LD's side won't help much, since he can't provide so much (LD has everything already: root, regen, dmg,...).
LD mid is the serious problem, since he can dominate the lane very hard with tons of dmg and hp, so supports need to TP-cover and rotate so much to provide enough help for the midlaner to survive. If he's lastpicking, you literally has nothing to do except try to help the midlane to not fucked up so soon. If not, there are some counters that can laning with him easily. The easiest is Necro, with max 1-3, the bear can't survive too long in the lane, and with clean lasthit with 1st skill, you can spam and regen tons of hp/mp to sustain at the lane. Just buy 550 armor item --> phase boots and the bear can't do anything on you. 2nd is Zeus, since he farms with 1st skill, so LD can't get closed or deny all your creeps, and you can harass both the bear and the hero while farming. Zeus also has 3rd skill to run away from the bear. Later on, the %hp dmg from 1st skill will fuck both the bear&hero a lot as long as you have good position.
@@TheBBoySwing it was not always like that, couple months ago i was hitting bear alot in midlane and he eventually died but now i can do the same and i can take max 50% of his hp before he respawn new...
@@SammyLame maybe they are buying more stats on the bear which give hp and armor and now damage too.
