Favorite Moments: The storm disrupting Sir Robert and STH. “Well lubricated clock” I guess the other saying got old? The Museum Engines discussing the worst cause of a train crash. Substitute Driver: “It’s a bloody electric engine. You know they’re unreliable.” Japan’s oldest operating EMUs: “We object!” The runaway itself.
When I saw the title of the episode I thought that this was based on the Ivor the Engine episode by the same name, but I was wrong. Oh, well. Well done to everyone who was involved!👍
14:52 Murdoch: DRIVER, WE'RE GONNA SHRED RIGHT THROUGH! Me: MURDOCH'S RIGHT, DRIVER, WE'RE GONNA RIP RIGHT OFF THE RIPPING RAILS! 14:56 Murdoch's Driver: GOT NO CHOICE! 14:57 - 15:24 Me: WELL DONE, MURDOCH, WELL BLOODY DONE, WE MADE IT, WE MADE IT THROUGH THE DIFFICULT BEND!
Railfan#1 recreates "Unstoppable" with Thomas characters and other stories. This has to be the most genius episode you've ever made! The cherry on top of my cake would be having soundtrack from "Unstoppable" playing during the rescue sequence and maybe for future high speed action chases and runaways in your series. 😊👍
@@1_railfanA couple of Thomas TH-camrs have used "Unstoppable" soundtrack before. "Sodor's Darkest Days" Ep. 6, 7 and 9 by BradleytheThomasfan1. "Cannonball" and "Percy's Predicament" by Thebogieboy.
Thanks for having the earl and my scene I really like ale character reference I did in Lyla in the loop. Wasn’t Downey studios 2001 voicing Murdoch? Aside of that this one is my favorite episode from the arc since I’ve been a unstoppable fan boy and I just loved the runaway scenes.
@ I know despite that I also recommend checking out Lyla in the loop it’s PBS show that’s why I used ale’s model as a stationmaster in my scenes I did. Oh by the way you should do bad ending where Murdoch and new diesel tipped off the tracks.
In the beginning when they said a diesel and the thunder comes it’s just like in the Wallace and from it the curse of the were rabbit instead f a bullet they said a diesel
So, are you familiar with either Daniel Radcliffe or the new voice actor of Wallace from Wallace & Gromit? As one of those two would be perfect voice actors for Thomas.
Istg anyone would mistake this for Unstoppable cause this was epic as hell. Also I’m probably gonna be the first person to ask, how high do you have to be TO LEAVE THE CAB OF A MOVING TRAIN JUST TO CHANGE THE POINTS?!?! I hope that substitute driver got fired for his stupidity
@@1_railfan I’ve got some lines for you as a narrator for the trailer of my newest arc: The stories involving the construction of the newest railway on Sodor at Dubbyn lake, from December 2024 to the first few months of 2025, will be an interesting series of events. It’ll start off with Sir Topham having a misunderstood conversation, leaving the engines “ripping” with fear. A new diesel will arrive on the Skarloey Railway, who will have a small part in meeting the NEW railway’s fleet. A charity event at Wellsworth will associate with the Sodor Island Council’s plans for the new line, along with a runaway involving gravity. Trials will be conducted on the new railway, but not without 1 of the engines developing a type of phobia. Another 1 of them will fall into similar shoes, with their recovery involving opening up about their “neglected” backstory, a pep talk of “never sailing alone”, as well as finishing off with turning a new leaf. Long story short, what is likely the biggest arc to date in these Sodor stories will be unique & exciting, but not without its major hardships, & over the time period around Christmas to early next year, you’ll receive the full details surrounding the arc, of the Dubbyn Lake Railway!
This episode was magnificent, just magnificent and might I say I think it's a good idea to make 080 non-binary and if I'm being honest these are my favourite moments The opening scene with Sir Topham and Sir Robert (Loved the Wallace and Gromit reference by the way) The Runaway (It was intense) And the scene at The difficult bend (that was intense as well) But all in all, it definitely enjoyed this episode
Can I advice something for writting? don't explain so much the diesel saying his full basis name and stuff wasn't really needed and just kinda makes it feel like not a thomas episode
8:44 I did not think I would hear the "My Leg!" Again LOL
Thanks for having me as Ward! By far this is the most intense episode you’ve ever created, that substitute driver is SO dead…
Worst he'll get is being fired & working at a fast food joint.
It just dawned on me that you featured "Unstoppable"!
I Like How This Episode Is Based On The Movie "Unstoppable".
AND a real event that inspired BOTH.
@1_railfan really?
@@joshuazillatheapexdinosaur3174 Yup, read the description.
@@1_railfan Ah I see
I’ve seen crazy things before.
And I thought of having Darthwill3 as diesel.
And the ironic part, we got Will for the role!
I think some of the lines are from unstoppable
this is a recration of unstoppable

Yo an unstoppable reference staton curve scene that’s my favorite from the movie and good job railfan 1!!!
This is going to be a fun one. I believe it might be the unstoppable movie reference I would like to imagine
I had a hunch some people would bring that movie up. You know the movie was also loosely inspired by the crazy 8's incident too.
@ oh yeah I’ve seen that movie and the new one from your Luke’s passenger run episode back in 2018
@@1_railfan I've seen that movie many times.

Looking forwards to seeing some Murdoch action in this and also starring as Awdry

nice! but what did Murdoch get as an award for saving the day?
Let's just say he gets new tender brakes and a day off to enjoy peace & quiet.

Based off the crazy 8's incident, the runaway scene, I'm guessing? 😉
You're the 2nd person to bring up the real life incident, & yes that is true.
@@1_railfan Why, thank you.
who made that animated scene with harold?
TheGreatOAnimationStudios.
How many people do you think will realize this is based on a true event
May as well count the ones who read the description & not think of the movie 1st.
