    3.40 Emma Atkins is such a talented and amazing actress. I know the exact feeling she is expressing taking a deep breath at 3.40. Alone in a room with tears pressning on both eyes and troath. Wonderful job! Love vanity!

    everyone asking why she is crying, the man who abused sexually and physically her has finally been sent down for what he has done, she is overwhelmed my emotion unsurprisingly she kept all this locked up for years and now everyone knows, so she’s obviously gonna be emotional

    3:40 Killed me !! 😔 It was like Charity was under water drowning and could rise again . Literally. She can breathe again but will always be afraid. Emma Atkins did an incredible job this scene & the whole storyline 👌

    I watch a lot of drama filled shows like this, including Coronation Street and never have I wait on baited breath to find out what was going to happen. I was so worried he wasn't going to be found guilty and it was a terrible feeling. The writers, producers and everyone behind the scenes did an amazing job with this ongoing storyline. Thank-you for uploading as much as you can/do. I am intrigued to see what is going to happen next

    Oh God, my heart breaks for Charity. As someone who has been through what she has been through, I can tell you exactly why she is crying. For years she had buried all the memories and emotions of her trauma to try and forget, but the court case has made her have to relive all of it and face the demons of her past.

    Aww poor Charity. All that emotion that has been suppressed for years is about to steamroll over you. Hold on tight, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
    I wonder how the 1 "not guilty" is going to affect her. I swear my heart just stopped I can only imagine what it did to her.
    Well done to the writers and all involved with this storyline. It's been a helluva journey and I can't wait to see the aftermath. You've put Emma through her paces and she's done a brilliant job 💖

    I think she’s crying because she can’t quite believe it went her way, nothing ever goes her way. I also think she probably had high hopes that she’d feel relief and happiness the moment he got send down but she didn’t, because having all of that dragged up in front of everyone was exhausting and terrible, the poor thing. She needs time to let it all sink in and I hope she doesn’t push Vanessa too far, she’s the best thing that ever happened to her.

    I read Charity is still in turmoil because she doesn't know why she was in that position in the first place, kicked out of her home as a kid...etc. Putting Bails away doesn't remove her experiences. It's just like a murder victim's family waiting for a death sentence to be carried out... you wait and wait and expect closure after it's done but you realize that the punishment is only a small part of the process. Charity needs to heal but no one can help her with that until she forgives people who hurt her, including herself. Also, the dude who played Bails did a really good job in that role.

    I've been so emotional over this trial, and iam so thrilled that Emmerdale got it right in the end. Charity deserves to fall apart for a while after the hell she has been put thru at the hands of a predator, but in the end she will rebound stronger than ever with Vanessa and her kids.. I can't wait to see happier times for them all.

    Is it just me? I love that Charity had her day in court and that Bails was found guilty. But, I do not like how this episode ended. Nessa was there, holding Charity (which I loved to see), but she pushes Nessa away. I think that Nessa would know that Charity still needed her there. But the writers didn't use that. Charity has already said that Nessa makes her the best version of herself. That statement is huge! So why are they still sending Nessa off? Allow this relationship to continue to help Charity heal. Let them show the love that we all know that they have for each other. This relationship is gold ... I hope the writers don't back off now!!!

      I think Charity just needed some breathing space, to feel like she can breathe again for the first time in months. It is something that she lived with for years and tried to bury. She never thought she would get justice but then she did and it is something she had never felt before, relief but I'm sure a lot of pain which she could eventually let out. She needed to be alone with her feelings and not have to think of anything else but herself.

    This scene bugs me though as Vanessa should just be holding charity not talking about it like that bless charity x

  • @mattmason7352
    @mattmason7352 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Thank god the goddess got justice as it should be. But now I am so worried about vanity.Something keeps nagging at me I saw somewhere charity will still be going through more turmoil and that one of them may cheat. And the way things are at the moment I do not doubt it. But if that happens then this is one person who will stop watching even though I love vanity so much.I do not believe we will ever hear I love you from either of them.Now bails is out of her life for good she needs to concentrate on the good things she has in her life her kids and ness who has stood by her all the way through this ordeal and tell herself yes I deserve to be happy now. AND LEAVE THE PAST WHERE IT BELONGS IN THE PAST. Please emmerdale do not spoil this perfect couple the only ones worth watching out of all couples even straight ones you will lose so many veiwers if you do there will properly be an uproar all over the country..So p;ease be the first soap who stays true to the fans after all we make your show .

    Saajida Dawood Ihave also heard that aswell from the mouths of emma and michelle I am keeping my fingers crossed it is not so but as emma said this is a soap so anything goes michelle is like us she hopes there is no cheating or they split up. In fact I may stop watching now to save me the heartbreak. I am so pissed of with the same story lines cannot any script writer come up with something new instead of breaking our heartswhat I want to see is both of them declaring their love to each other not as I see at the moment which is charity pushing vanessa away. No offence but since ryan came into charitys life vanessa seems to be leaving .Do not get me wrong I love ryan he is a great guy and it is normal charity wants to get to know him but not to the point of pushing others away like ness who has shown her love(even if not said) by continually giving her all her support. She is her rock the only one who really gets charity and can handle her PLEASE PLEASEemmerdale do not mess with vanity. They are the only reason I watch the show I endure the whole episode just for them.As elton john would say dont go breaking my heart please.

    Looks like Charity feels guilty. Not sure even a lot of murderers get 30 years in this country. Unless the judge is making an example of him because he's a policeman.

    • @MarisandraEstherian
      @MarisandraEstherian 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I too believe she feels guilt. It's fucked up, but victims of sexual abuse often do that, the mind separates logic from the emotional one where you weight in rape/violence against you that you've learned to live with VS what he's gonna face when you out him/he gets sent down - and for such a long time.
      I also believe she feels emptiness, that she thought that a weight would lift from her shoulders, that she would heal and be "fixed" (everyone constantly reminding her she's broken) and she doesn't feel that, because what she experienced, her life since then, that hasn't changed. She's the same, and she thought she'd feel better, and she doesn't, so emptiness...

    So very nice we got to see them ON a bed, at least, and spooning, which is wonderful. They fit well together. But, am I the only one who wanted to tell Vanessa to be quiet? To just put her arm around her waist and hold her. Let Charity do the talking if she wants or merely enjoy the closeness and comfort of just being together. The fact that Charity wanted her to go... is a bit worrisome. Yet, I suppose after an ordeal like that, one might want to be alone, in order to truly let it all go, without having to worry about what someone else is thinking or feeling. And Vanessa's prattling would have driven me up the wall. Don't get me wrong, I like Vanessa, but... sometimes the writers make her a bit irritating with the bossy, know-it-all sounding lines they have her give voice to. Can only wonder if Vanessa had been quiet, would Charity have let her stay or would she have actually requested that she go?
    Oh my word, Emma is a wonderful actress. The deep emotional pain is palpable... as sensed through her heavy breathing. One can almost see the 14 year old girl, she once was as she grips that pillow. The sounds she makes and the tears in those eyes are so realistic at the end... my heart breaks for her.

      Janice Banfield She’s just had to re-live a terrible ordeal that she had spent years trying to forget and she had never told anyone and then she had to tell a bunch of strangers,
      She may have sent Bails to prison but she’s far from over it all.
