  • in this video I'm showing you step by step How to make Hydroponic system at home Things required ;
    -4 pcs 4" PVC pipe each 3ft
    -8 pcs end cap -
    -8 PT Elbow 15 mm
    -8 pcs 4" pipe clip
    Stand Things
    -4 pcs Elbow 36 mm
    -4 pcs Tee 36 mm
-12 ft. long of PVC pipe 36 mm Cut the pipes.
Hydroponic PVC - Do you want to grow your own plants but you don’t have enough space in the backyard?
Do you live in a condo thus you don’t have any backyard to grow veggies?
Then you can build a hydroponic PVC system.
It is a clever way of growing plants on a small area without exerting much effort.
It can hang on a wall or a fence, meaning you don’t need to have a garden to pursue your hobby.
#Hydroponics is a word derived from two Greek words.
Hydro means water while panics is a word for hard labor.
Hydroponics actually goes along way back, as the ancient Egyptians and Aztecs were said to be familiar with the principles of growing plants in water enriched with nutrients. A hydroponics system based on metal or plastic can be very costly.
PVC, on the other hand, is very easy to put up because the low price of the material.
If you’re looking to create your own hydroponic system at home, you’ll be attracted to the low price of PVC that leaves you with enough space for error and tryouts.
Another advantage of PVC is its efficiency.
PVC pipes are lighter than other hydroponic system materials like steel.

It is also not toxic and soluble.
Plus, hydroponic gardening systems that make use of PVC pipes perform very well outdoors notwithstanding different weather conditions

The hard work you are doing in hydrophonics is appreciable .
At the same time if you think over expenses u e will be suufiicient to do three to five times more agriculture in openland.
The neutrients and natural elements will be abundant in the crop grown on land than any hydrophonics and midde thotas.
The will stick to legs and hands but the satisfaction and economics will be more.
So it left to thinkers and a suggetion only.not discouraging..

    1. How do you balance nutrient A and B and measure concentration?
    2. Do you have issues with mosquitoes in the water tank?
    3. Is this an NFT method or a type of DWC? i ask because the water pressure seems high for NFT.

The brown balls is a clay pebbles , you can use lava rock or Hydroponic sponge , it's a grow media to support the plants and provide Darkness to the roots , yes you need to add Hydroponic liquid fertilizer to the water .
Hydroponic is simple just provide the required nutrition and oxygen in the water .

Ooof, this stuff is way harder than it looks. Careful so the clay pebbels don't get in the water, cause then the pH goes high n everything turns yellow (using perlite instead is recomendable). Also it is worth mentioning that the pipes get insanely heavy when filled with water, and the water needs to be a certain hight for tiny new things to reach it with their roots. There also need to be a certain angle on the pipes, so the water doesn't build up too much and the shelves (or whatever you use) crash down and break, and I'm not certain about this angle yet, but using PVC to hold up the pipes looks really risky and unstable (especially on only 4 legs like that). Also if you are doing this in an area were you don't wanna spill water, it is worth concidering that the "bucket" needs to be able to hold considerably more amounts of water in order to at some point drain the pipes. The "bucket" should also be covered so no light comes through to the water, as this would cause algeas to grow in it. Having a way to drain the "bucket" easily, might also prove to be handy.

How big of a plant will grow out of each hole? Can I grow some productive Mary Jane in pipe or would I have to convert to a bucket hydro type system?

A lot of that could have been done before gluing on the ends. Would have made it easier.

System will always have a layer of water, for drainage in middle and not lower on ends...
For flood and drain all water must drain..

can we add small solar panel with battery for motor, and can you please share the total cost....I am thinking to take this as my engineering project.

      @DIYGARDENWITHBB  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there !
Yes can use solar panels , as long can turn on the pump ..
You can try this system as well , not require a strong energy .
