These video scenes were set up using an iPhone 15 close to the target on slo-mo. The audio is slow-mo. It was an easy shot to set up and fortunately, the scope was mostly set. I had doped the scope for a windy shot in another session and didn't reset it to my zero stops. I reset it to zero and made the shots. A word on energy. With the 44-grain Predator Polymag, the average velocity was 570 fps providing a muzzle energy of 32 ft/lbs. At 25 yards, that drops to 26. At 100 yards, its 12. At 50 yards, its 21. I don't want to engage a target beyond 50 with it and I can't envision a scenario where I would need to.
Hopefully this gun is better than the other, the original falls apart. The front screw that holds the sling broke into, it’s not metal, the piston stop working as well, buyers beware.this took place in about a year.
@@dwainmorgan8550 this one does not have a sling. No piston issues so far. Hatsan’s are hit and miss. I had scope accuracy issues originally, because it was mounted poorly at the factory. A new buyer should inspect these things on receipt. Some have complained about crooked scope rails. I dislike the combo rail they use. I think all manufacturers who make high powered air guns should abandon the dovetail rail and use exclusively pic rails.
Love this air rifle it hits hard !!!
Those who watch my channel know I use a 25 yard range almost exclusively. The video is supposed to be fun, not a serious critique of the gun.

Try the jts dead center pellets, the vortex r trash and don't even fit. Shears off end of pellet. Jts fit like oj glove
@@dannyarmata8878 this one likes Predator Polymags.
And we don't know at what distance the Hatsan is so "deadly accurate".
@@RayCotta-d1g FYI 25 yards.
