WOW I left the UK and Leyland 16yrs ago! Some shops ofcourse have changed but the old man near the indoor market with the sign who aint happy about the council....! WOW he is still there and im shocked lol.... even after all this time he still spends his days doing the same thing! Some ppl just cant let stuff go. The Chicken Shop!! the best place ever!!! Still poping off as ever! Loved there sausage baps!
The Leyland Motors clock you’re looking at 14:45, there’s a couple more dotted about the country. One of which is in Kendal at Brewery Arts centre. I’m a Leylander all my life and I used to deliver 📦 around Kendal and spotted the clock there. The town has seen lots of change in the past few years, not for the better either. Too many houses with infrastructure not updated to keep up. It gets choked up with traffic regularly, especially Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

I used to live here in the 1980s. What a laugh the pubs were. Superb. My fav time was Saturday mornings.
i’ve lived here all my life, it can be fun sometimes but not now when it’s full of road men and chavs 😭
