I originally made my silicone mold with a 2 part mix from a special effects supply company. I used real LEGO bricks set on a LEGO base, and built a makeshift retaining wall with bricks and play-dough.
I didn't plan to make a tutorial on how to make the mold, but I've been inundated with requests for the last year, so I finally did it! :)
It's amazing to see how much detail the silicone can transfer to the final gummy products. If you look closely at my candies you can even see the little “LEGO” text on top of the gummy LEGO studs.

I have to really thank this guy. I just got done cleaning up my OWN silicone Lego mold, and it's almost EXACTLY like his (with the exception of a few replacement bricks I used since I didn't have all of the pieces). Thank you Grant. can you add where to get all of that in UK?
also please, when you do videos with any kind of scale, use not pounds, F° and scales you usually use, but also kilograms, C° and so on. because some people don't know how those scales work (probably 30% or more of your viewers [just guessing the %]). also those second scales are more common and easy to learn

To help bubbles out, you can use an orbital sander and hold it close to the batch of silicone for a minute give or take and that will separate the bubbles form the surface of the part.
Five Stars! This is a lot of fun, and my grandkids love the output. For making my molds, I changed the process a bit to conserve mold material. For starters, I used the Oomoo-30 liquid silicon mold mix product. It makes a more flaxible mold than the pink stuff. The thinner base makes it much easier to decant the candy. See pictures in my Amazon review of this product. Making the border slightly lower, the base is thinner and you can make more molds from one batch. I have also tinkered with the candy recipe, tweaking each batch to adjust firmness, stickyness and flavor. This is what crafting is all about! Thanks, KOR!

Don't know if you know this but a little trick I found before was to make the retaining wall a bit higher then setting the mold on a washing machine to have it shake out the bubbles. The higher retaining wall is to ensure you don't get "spillage". Not fool proof but if you got laundry to do, it makes it a tad easier.

I built one myself creatively, I used I think hundreds of 2x4s and definitely some 2x2s for the retaining wall. Mine took at least 1.5 months to build, and used some 2x4 tiles as well on the inside. I used 2 48x48 base plates so 15 inches by 30 inches. I may have to use 14 pounds of silicone

Those are ice cube molds and are oversized. They don't make real lego bricks.
