Hello from Iowa ! I am a HUGE fan of the soft Clover hooks, I own 12 size “I”, no kidding, I have one in everything 😅 . It’s my go-to hook. I have an old make-up bag for my stuff, the stitch markers are awesome, but again they get dropped all over. I went to a big box store, bought coiless safety pins, and the ABC kids beads and whipped myself up a bunch of them, final thing, I had my eye on your dachshund sitting so still, my sister has a long haired one. I subbed
Thank you for the sub and the comment!! I love that you have so many of the same hook, I have a couple and always seem to loose one!😂 Great idea for stitch marker too! Fiona is a great companion-she seems to be in all my videos!😂
Thank you for giving a good pair of scissors the credit they deserve. I have been crocheting for ten years and I don't think any of the crocheting tutorials I've watched mentioned the importance of scissors, especially when making armigurimi. Your tips are practical and useful.
I always seem to have multiple projects going so I just use a pencil case from dollar tree and I bought a bunch of those little scissors on Temu so I can have supplies with each project..good tips!! New here
I LOVE that idea! I've always got something going-I try to have my most used hooks in a container on my desk, and I have two of those bags one for at home and one that travels!
I bought some cheapie earplugs and just stick them on the end - I keep everything in a single divided plastic case, they have their slot...and they can't stab me! Another option is to use small velvet jewellery bags as a sheath. They're really cheap, stick a bit of sponge in the bottom and voila. And this is why I am not allowed sharp things 😁
All you need to try crochet is a hook & a ball of yarn. It doesnt have to be expensive when youre just teying out the skills. Most people have a pair of scissors in the kitchen drawer. It does not have to be expensive to try it out
Thanks for commenting! Premier yarns at Dollar Tree has 109 yards, Big Twist Acrylic by Joann has 380 yards. Yes, you would need to get more skeins because there is less yardage. Cost wise it’s about the same when Big Twist is not on sale. Options for yarn is AWESOME when someone is starting out. Happy Crocheting!
Hi Diana! Just discovered you today 😊 Enjoyed your video. Wondering how long it took you to grow your channel. I feel like it’s taking a long time to increase my views/subscribers. Thx
Thank you for commenting! Glad to know that Michaels yarn is great quality-our Michaels don’t carry a very good stock so it’s hard to find yarn to use! Happy Crocheting!
I absolutely do love Hobby Lobby yarn and will go in, but only for that!! They totally ooze Christianity. I won't order online from them because the shipping is ridiculous and it takes forever.

I really do love those scissors, but I sure wish they came with a sheath to keep them in.
I totally agree! I’m
always thinking put them in the bag-so I don’t stab myself!😂

Exactly-thank you for commenting!
Do you have the cardinal pattern you did in the short? So cute!
It’s a pattern by Coffeeandcrochet01 on Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/1711172822/
@@scrappywarriorwoman1984 Thanks for answering so quickly! I am obsessed with cardinals right now. 🥰
Thank you
You're welcome! 😊. Happy crocheting!
I wondered who liked the short shank crochet hooks. Hmmm
I really do! Feels like I can get a more consistent tension with them!
I guess that’s why there are SO many choices-something for everyone!
The bent needles are sharper too making it easier to so through the threads
Yes-they are AMAZING! I didn’t haven’t any for years-such a great tool!
Dollar Tree yarn is expensive if you try to make anything. They have very little yardage

Thank you for watching my video! I started my channel in August of 2023.
Consistency is key. Know your why. And just keep swimming!😉
@ thx
No problem-the grind is real!
I prefer Michael's yarn. It is better quality, outstanding variety, and they unlike hobby lobby are not an antisemitic company!

@ the yarn is nice! Shipping is ridiculous-it’s hard to order online for me as colors can be tricky, I like to get my hands on the yarn!
