I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes, not because death scares me nor because I don’t know and understand the hope that true Believers have. It’s because I’m 60 and with that comes a lot of loss of wonderful brothers and sisters. We lost Ptr R C, and almost lost Ptr Voddie, Ptr John is in crisis. I’m grateful for life, especially a healthy, vibrant life, but sometimes old age stinks. Please don’t waste time telling me I’m being negative, because I’m not. I just needed to get that out even as I pray for the treasures God has given us
I will be 60 next week. I start loosing classmates at age 25. Violent death ,aids lots of things. I was always a Christian and went a a performing arts high school they live big have alot of heath problems but people tell me I look 30 I dont get shots. I do face yoga if you want to look it up. I have no wrinkles.
Your treasure should be in Jesus Christ, sir. Not this man. He is an unethical man. He is deceiving people. He is dishonest. We need to stop focusing on man and stop worshipping these celebrity preachers. I wish you could all see how dangerous this is to your own spirituality.
As he mentioned, it's partly due to the meds he's having to take. And over the 1-1/2 to 2 years he was hit with COVID and a couple of other bugs, all of which have taken a toll on him and his 83 years old body. So glad he was able to drop in for this Q&A, but I still think he needs a lot more recuperation, although I don't think we'll ever see him bounce back to the vigor he once enjoyed. We all love him, he's precious to multitudes of grateful souls whose lives he's impacted, including mine.
I love Pastor John so much, it is because of his sermons and teachings that I have come to have the Holy Spirit inside me and live my life with humility and kindness, and to know the Bible in a deeper way, I wish I found him earlier, grace to you in peace my friends from God, the father and our Lord Jesus Christ.✝️🕊️

Thank you for the update on Johnny Mac. He seemed frail to me, makes me sad. I understand what the drs. and surgeons said about his heart and praise God for that! Maybe it's his age or my observation is wrong about him being frail. I just love him so much, have listened to him for so many yrs. and have grown in my faith as well as my own church. The teachings of Pastor John made me a better person and a better Christian. I purchased The MacArthur Study Bible NKJV a couple of years ago and it transformed my understanding of scripture. The ways it’s written with the introduction to each book and giving insight to the author is awesome. Each page also has explanations of the scripture. Unbelievable version of The Holy Bible.
God is so good to all of us. Pastor John is such a great pastor and teacher. I am so glad helps health is doing much better. Hopefully heading to a full recovery. God has blessed us all with Pastor John’s presence in the pulpit telling everyone about The Lord and he will never stop telling the world about God’s love. 🙏

Aside from loving Pastor John and having sat under his teaching for nearly 30 years.....Fresca and Tab have been my favorite sodas since I was a child. When Pastor J. said "I want my Fresca!" I bought a 12 pack and kept it in my garage with the intent of gifting it to him. Levity aside: I pray for him daily and reflect with gratitude how his ministry has shaped the lives of myself and my children. I'm in N. Cal now, but especially heartwarming to me was when my middle child, who started high school in 2021, asked me if we could drive to Los Angeles and attend GCC before school started. That was my son's 'vacation' request; to hear MacArthur preach. My husband died 3 months later and I am in awe of God's providence.
