Hey, great video! I like the street bob but would go for the standard. Like you say, it is minimal and can be used to create the bike you want. I plan to buy one for my 65th birthday present. Thanks for the abs tip. I want to avoid that, I like to control my own braking.
Just purchased a 2023 softail stand. Purchased a Corbin seat for passengers and pegs. Next would be forward controls. Would like to see more upgrade videos that can be done
I like less tech. I am liking this more than I though I would because of less tech. A set of drag bars and it is a keeper for me. Thanks for the review.
Its a nice looking bike for sure. I have my 1275 hammer powered sporty set up like this bike. The only drawback of this softail standard imo is that my sporty has a 4.5 gallon fuel tank and this bike holds a gallon less than my ride.
How about the exhaust header diameter and exhaust shields are the same ? except finish colour ? BTW Softail Standard looks better to me and could be more better if HArley install spoke wheeld
The Softail Standard wpuld be perfect if it came with the highlighted engine fins like the Street Bob even if it's still just a 107 that extra chrome engine highlights really would make the chrome on bike pop. And 2 more things that would make Standard perfect from factory is a dang usb port and cruise control. Do those 3 things and I would buy this bike. Also, not necessary but the 107 air filter cover that came on the Sport Glide wpuld look perfect on the Standard. Black with the 107 and chrome ring finish on the cover would be a great finishing touch!
@@matthewcanfield6748 I didn't mean it like that, I meant it like even if they don't update the engine to a 114 but just give us the highlighted engine fins for the 107 if they're gonna keep the 107 on Standard. I think the highlighted fins add a nice touch yo chrome finishes on the bike. I love the 107, it's a great engine with plentyof power. I wasn't saying it's underpowered, I could've worded it better.
Are you aware of any H-D saddlebags for the 2023 H-D Softail Standard? The H-D 2024 parts catalogue shows the Outwatch Quick Release Bags will fit, but the H-D website states otherwise.
@@rb2112 with Indian it's the same. The Scout also costs almost 20k and then you'll need to change the suspension, seat and exhaust... count your price ...
Yo, I was just watching your video about what you had done to your Fat Bob. But I can't find a list with links to the gear and you turned off the comments on that video...
Street bob looks sporty and younger
Standard looks classic and elegant
I ride with smile everyday, my wonderful standard~~!
Love the clean metal finish

Possibilities are limitless with the Standards. Engine gaurd, stage 1, bars, LEDs...
@@hotel-delta And with all options it will cost more than a Heritage or Tourer
With where the Heritages start now, nah
@@hotel-delta definitely getting windshield next then engine guards with foot pads. Only keeping 2 years then getting touring bike

"just a 107" lol Anyone that has ridden this bike would laugh at that comment

They need to make the softail standard with at least a 15 litre tank. The 13 litre tank means you are going to be doing a lot of stopping to fuel up.
Small gas tank is such a deal breaker. Otherwise best looking bike in the lineup
Low cost?
These thing went up 3k here in Europe.
Standard cost 20k now
Agree with that☝🏻 the difference in costs between a Softail Standard and a Street Bob Arent that big and you'll get more bike with the Street Bob...
