About this video -
Our long awaited Dooars trip starts. Our journey to North Bengal during monsoon will bring you a series of travel vlogs.
These series of vlogs will serve as a Dooars tour guide and will help you to chalk out a Dooars tour plan. We are staying at the Gorumara Nest Resort just adjacent to the lush green tea gardens and Gorumara National Park. In this series of vlogs we are lucky to get Bablu da aka Kingshuk Mukherjee the owner of Gorumara Nest who will be guiding us throughout this trip. We had the best bengali traditional food at Gorumara Nest resort. We went out for a short tour and visited the Murti River or Murti Nodi and Murti bridge. We also visited the Jaldhaka bridge over Jaldhaka Nodi. These vlogs are a part of Monsoon tourism in Dooars. We also visited Gorumara National park and our trip will give you an idea about the best tourist spots in Dooars and the best resort in Dooars. This is completely a Dooars tourism guide.

I have visited gorumara nest in 2017. It was less crowded then. I have never seen a host like Bablu da. His knowledge and personality is awesome. The food served there was delicious. Now it is crowded thanks to youtube!

Monsoon is the season jokhon nature MON khule nije ke mele dhore... All the dust that settles on the leaves and roads all throughout the year get washed away and nature becomes lively!!!

That you have chosen monsoon to visit Dooars is an adventure. The locals will narrate to you interesting stories of elephants. I had the experience to be part of villagers who chased out elephants at night by firing in the air; around the area you are staying in 2005. I had seen a leopard about 2 meters away from elephants back just between Murti river and forest side entry of Gorumara Tree House (Govt) resort. Chill ran down my spine observing its two glowing green eyes and pitch black body at around 5.30 pm. Fireflies had lit the atmosphere in that summer of 2010 with birds chirping and the huge leopard in front.. It was one of my memorable moments in the jungles of Dooars. Enjoy dear friends.

I grew up in jalpaiguri. Currently I stay away from my home for my studies.From childhood it was a mandatory thing to go to Lataguri, murti, Jaldhaka on Sundays. How nostalgic I feel! It's been almost a year I didn't see my baba ma and our North bengal! Murti nodi ta vlog e dekhte dekhte kottto kichu mone porchilo! Momo khawa.. Hati dekhte paoa forest e. Oi bhoy! Oi enthusiasm! যেহেতু এখন ডুয়ার্সে আপনারা রয়েছেন, পারলে মেটেলি র কাছে The grand flavour restaurant এ একবার ঘুরে আসতে পারেন। আশা করি ভালো লাগবে। ওখানে একটা tri colour dish পাওয়া যায়। দারুন খেতে। মালবাজারে কিছু বছর থাকার অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে বলছি, এই বর্ষার সময় জায়গাটা খুব ভালো লাগবে। আপনাদের vlog টা দেখে মালবাজারে র কথা মনে পড়ে যাচ্ছে।Menglas tea garden টাও ঘুরে আসতে পারেন। ভালো লাগবে।

আমি ডিসেম্বর 2022 এর 5 থেকে 7 ( সকাল) ছিলাম। বাবলুদার আতিথেয়তা তে মুগ্ধ আমরা। গান, আড্ডা সাথে অসম্ভব সুন্দর দার্জিলিং চায়ের স্বাদ উপভোগ করলাম। বাবলুদার রুচি ও আভিজাত্য পূর্ণ ব্যবহার আমাদের আপ্লুত করেছে। আবার সুযোগ হলে যাবো বাতাবাড়িতে বাবলুদার রিসর্টে।
