I've made two solo kayak (17' Necky) trips on the inside passage - 10 weeks in 2017 (Bellingham south to San Juans then to Skagway) and 14 weeks in 2020 (Anacortes south to San Juans then to Skagway). I did the classic route the first trip and had unbelievable weather- only 4 days of rain. The second trip was more typical weather and I took a different route and I made side trips to tidewater glaciers (LeComte, S. Sawyer, Taku) and Glacier Bay N.P. The wildlife and primitive camping is spectacular. I hope to do another trip next summer (maybe just SE Alaska). I didn't take any video (only stills) so it was nice to watch yours so I could reminisce a little.
Mate that's a pretty incredible achievement! I'm glad you liked the video. I'm compiling a list of kayak camp sites in Alaska - if you have any stills from your camps, or any coordinates of them, I'd love to add them to the collection. Especially in relation to your side trips. Thanks Ron :)
