Imposter Mario has the COLDEST stare with his hat covering his eyes like that and I just LOVE it! Especially when you choose to side with the Shadow queen and he does the same pose. Absolutely COLD!
I just did something funny with this battle recently. Thanks to the badge duplication trick(which still works on the new patch, but text storage doesn't) I had enough Mega Rushes to one-shot Doopliss, but when I did, he revived with 10 HP through a Life Shroom, did his freak-out text where he takes damage, then Vivian rejoined.
@@JorgeGarcia-fx1jc To me it seems like a fail-safe because they want those 2 events to occur before you win the battle. The original would crash if you did certain sequence breaks through glitches.
Probably because it's one of the few songs where synth exclusive sounds weren't replaced with instruments, while other ones that were clearly trying to replicate instruments were treated accordingly.

@@makesomething4093 No arguments there, that's just what I would prefer remastered osts to do. Picking random instruments to replace synths is why the Mario Kart 8 remixes don't fare as well imo

I guess even the composers knew Doopliss' battle theme was so good they felt that they needed to make another version of it for this fight. I love it.
