- Ever dreamt of flying above the Peak District National Park in the UK? Well in this video, Hay & Kyle take you on a journey of aviation at the Derbyshire and Lancashire Gliding Club at Camphill. They'll show you everything you can expect from an introductory flight at the site in Great Hucklow. Kyle will meet his pilot instructor before taking flight above the Peak District and seeing the National Park from the sky. Buckle up and get your parachute on as we explore the skies of Derbyshire from a birds eye view!

@@HayandKylewe were visiting my brother who lives in the southern suburbs of Sheffield, so drove down the A6 from the Manchester Airport link road, ,A623, A625, nice bite to eat at The Prince of Wales pub ,on Saturday night, Sunday roast today, and then back to the Wirral, before the rain....lovely views...for Mrs C and our daughter...sipping a Taylor's Yorkshire tea at Clabby Towers, how was your day..?... apart from flying gliders..!!!!... peace and love....😊😊😊..E...

Great vlog. I got my wings through the Air Training Corps way back when. Did it over three weekends. It was dead calm on the day of my solos. Very short ones, but you got three solos. It was open cockpit back then. Thanks for sharing.

Flew a K4 Rhonlercher at the 1971 vintage glider rally here. A really great gliding club and site.
Not many K4's left now.
Still gliding after 56 years and still love it!
Now based in East Anglia. Did you fly in a K13? First flew in K13 August 1969 at Firle Beacon Sussex.

Yes I'd definitely like to try this & being 1,000ft up especially with the parachute & safety instructors & seeing landmarks from Bird's Eye views - Loving the Girly Laugh Kyle & I'll have to purchase Derbyshire Life Magazine with you geezers in it - Derbyshire & Lancashire matter a lot to my life so I'll definitely for £99 give Camphill Giding Club a go. Hi Kyle and Haley, glad to see this video after about a month of not posting. Glad that Kyle had the awesome experience to go up in a glider. I don't think I've seen other You Tubers filming going up in a glider in the Peak District. It was great to see it from above and all the beautiful landscape and scenery.

Glad to see your back on again, great video again very different. My daughter was going up in a glider today but rain set in and it was called off. Its something I'd have a go at i think. Time will tell. I'll be getting that magazine 👍

Really enjoyed this, what a great perspective of the Peak District. used to be in the cadets myself and my one biggest regret is I never got to go up in a glider as each time I was supposed to the weather had other ideas. Flew in a Grib Tutor and Bulldog T1 a few times though.

It did end up full-on raining shortly after our experience, so I think we got very lucky with the British weather that day 😅 We'd recommend you have a go anyway, might bring back some memories 😁✌️

@@HayandKyleMrs C used to guide the Air Ambulance in to land at Walton hospital....we passed an incident today on the high peak, with the Mountain Rescue team in attendance , thankfully they got the casualty off to Hospital in a Paramedic Ambo...😮😮
