We live in a rural area and have a lot of power outages that last a day or more. I can see this as a ‘Swiss army knife” cooker. Thank you for showing us another way to keep feeding our families when traditional methods of cooking are not available.

Have had our cobb premier for 10 years, love it as you don't have to keep looking if the food is burning, fill the moat with water, put in your pork joint and 3hrs later you have a beautiful tender joint along with the crispy crackling, try using Australian heat beads if you can get them, 10 briquettes last around 4hrs.

Pam: why not make your own liners using heavy duty aluminum foil. Sam's club has 18 inch wide heavy-duty duty rolls for catering 500 ft. long. I only buy one every few years.

hi pam ~ i noticed that you struggled a bit to get the handle/lifter into the holes on the fry pan/griddle. i too, didn't notice at first that the holes are just a little offset from each other, and the lifter fits easily into the holes if you just move it one hole to the left or right. you don't have to squeeze it to get it to fit. can't wait to see more videos on the cobb. i bought mine because of your first video and we just love it. we're taking it camping very soon.

I just shared this video with my husband so he view it. I want to get his thoughts on the Cobb and if he feels we would use it. I’m the one who loves kitchen/camping gadgets, lol. Thank you for the video, and hopefully he will be on board too.

WOW! After watching your unboxing on Rosered Homestead, I thought that it really *is a "kitchen in a box"! But your new gifts (amazing gesture from the President of Cobb) really bring it up a notch! Although it isn't something that I would ever buy/use ... well, never say never 😊 ... I'm glad that you will suggest using what we have on hand to duplicate the results.❤

As for the charcoal, could you combine the 2? Maybe 3 Cobblestone and 4-5 briquets?
Then, let your friends and family know what y'all want for birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. Hold out for "the big stuff" for Christmas and anniversary 😂

LOL! Yes, we have done some experimenting doing just that. Check out Monday's video over on RoseRed where we explain it.

I went to the site after watching your video on Rose Red. I want one! I haven't shown this to my husband yet. We only rarely travel, so if I purchased this it would be for home use probably. The easy portability and assembly is huge for us as we are finding senior life interesting. I love the versatility of it and what you can do with it. I also love that it takes so few briquets to cook on it. I do love the idea of the clean burning cobblestones that they sell. I wonder if any other company makes a similar product but in a smaller form. I am interested in that because charcoal cooking advertises for you. I will have to google that to see. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I have to say the more I see it, the more I would like to purchase one. I do appreciate that you do not have sponsors as it makes what you recommend true, and you can point out any drawbacks or issues. It appears to be constructed well with durable materials. That's a plus, too.

So far we are really liking it--both for the trail and for an alternatie cooking product for emergency preparedness at home.

The fact that you can start cooking in under 5 minutes after lighting them means the Cobblestones are useful for the occasions where that is really useful when you're in a rush. Expensive, but worth having to give options.

Omg, the Cobb Grill is so versatile. Thank you for explaining. It’s definitely going on my wishlist. I ordered the waffle maker, I’m pre diabetic, so I count carbs and don’t use cane sugar. I made my Chaffle waffles so delicious. You had my ears perk up about next video.

What a nice companion video to your Rose Red review. I was very interested in all the well deserved thank you gifts sent by Cobb. I had been very curious about the foil liners and the pizza stone. So far, I made my own liner with heavy duty foil, but a premade one that fits better would be nice. I can see the benefit of the liner. The rotisserie doesn't seem to be worth the additional cupboard space, since there is a chicken rack included...which I aim to test very soon.

I had the same experience with my rotisserie with my air frier. haven't used it since. besides, I can get my rotisserie chicken at costco. I'm not a big chicken eater.
