With this logic, the top-scorer's percentile becomes 95 and assuming top-second scorer a female, she would remains at 99.9999. It is like reducing male candidates percentile by 5. As 10000 students appeared GIPMAT and assuming 60:40 gender ratio among aspirants & among top scorers too, there will be 200 girl students between 95 and 100 percentile. If 100000 students appear the exam, there will be 2000 girl stidents in range of 95 to 100 percentile. Merit list criteria is designed to disqualify boys.........
You should go for neet first 1200+ Medical collage accept neet score where only 5 to 7 collage accept ipmat score card and these days ipmat become more competitive. It will risky for studying both.
Additional Pointers: 1. It is a slight possibility that all the selected/waitlisted students aren't in a sequence of their merit score but this looks unlikely 2. Given how the result has been, it would be absolutely difficult to predict waitlist movement. So no comments on that. 3. The data for SC/ST/PWD might be a little off because of smaller sample size but should be very close for General, EWS and NC-OBC

I believe this is a clerical error and now since the list is declared, they don't want to own up to the screw up. Shame on them.
