I love this build. If you need to disengage, you have blink + 2 jaunts + 7-8 leap ambushes via signets, distortion, dodge and energy sigil. To this day I haven't seen any other build match this kind of mobility and catch the ambush mirage. Also if you can time your invuls right, you can be a menace to all the mechanists thinking that they can 111 their way to victory.
Been playing GW2 since launch but incredibly new to mesmer, and I've been enjoying all your guides! A quick question though. I'm seeing that you leap with your sword using the sword + ambush combo without your stamina being consumed (and without using Distortion or the signets), or the bar completely fills right back up. Saw this happen at 19:44, for example. Is that from the energy sigils? I understand that it's supposed to fill up the bar to 50% when switching, but since Mirage only gets one bar, does that mean it fills it back up to full?
Exactly, that's a trick that you should practice, you dodge while in greatsword and quickly swap weapons, the swap will proc the energy sigil recharging your entire endurance bar, cuz one dodge is 50, and you are still under the time window of the ambush to use the sword one
I don't speak english anyway, that's why I explain most things trough text, and on this channel I don't produce videos with much edition, its a compilation of clips with gameplay to show the builds on the website, I suggest you check Vallun guides to learn more stuff he does good detailed videos with voice.
@@JenPlaysGG Yeah I love roaming with my condo staff mirage. But in groups the reflect walls really hurt and can render the build useless if the enemy is using a lot of them, which they usually are. I've noticed groups sharing magnetic aura too which they seem to have up like 50%+ time which is very annoying...
@@JenPlaysGG Oh cool I play on the usually weak team, we are red right now and never can do much against Mag and the other that seem to (team up) together.
I am on Sea of Sorrows server, it is usually very weak coverage during the day but at late night is strong because many Aussies play there. So in general I am used to being in the weak team always, being against maguuma is pretty boring anyway they are super overpopulated if your server is stuck with them then maybe you should transfer.
Idk about pvp for now, the population is very yikes to get decent matches but I will try after I finish with most of the roaming builds for the website, subscribe to my main channel too I will post roaming there between other content as well just shorter duration videos
Everywhere, thats WvW, maybe you are new idk but I can suggest to try doing more solo roaming and you will find plenty, if you get good to kite enough you will get out of combat very easily
@@JenPlaysGG I get that people try it alot, but I ve seen and witnessed alot more persuit. What I dont see as much of nowdays is people just letting the opponent kite. Theres too much mobility creep in gw2 right now to NOT persue a kiter. They gave it to everyone last xpac.
@@Elemenopi23 if someone knows how it feels being chased and zerged by thirsty roamers its me, so trust me, mobility is in both sides, some kite better than others, you will find out on my website that all the roaming builds are based on mobility, so that's not excuse, this specifically build for example have insane mobility with sword ambush and in the end, you are expecting more than what the average wvw player can do, remember that most have the lemming mentality and follow a tag not everybody knows what to do with the mobility and even less thinking about how to use terrain
Your vids are fun and I like how u post frequently. Feels like pvp/wvw gw2 community is not active at all.
Thanks for helping it staying alive
Ty for watching and commenting, I have to do it myself: th-cam.com/video/WRgD5ow2w3Y/w-d-xo.html

Hi Jen, I know this is an older post but wanted to tell you how much I laughed when you inserted the face plant video. So funny LOL
Brings back memories, used to love power mirage before dodge nerf but will definitely give it a try with this one. Keep up the good work Jen.
That fight on the stairs was really cool to watch. Good stuff
16:17 That Tempest escape ability and sustain is just absurd.....
That blob roaming at the end was great, haha.
yes this build is actually godlike for havoc/cloud because the greatsword ambush does lots of damage :D
decent footage, both solo and group fights are amazing
Decent 6:52
@@JenPlaysGG yeah when you left me to die with your double port xD
Yay show those thieves!

RIP that reaper at 6:00. Just taking the mean beams...
Did you ever think about adding a voice over explaining things? It would really help.

You are very good. Are you EU or NA?
NA - Sea of Sorrows
Montage with techno? Love it!
Awesome as always Jen!
What do you think is more effective for solo Roaming...power ambush or the condi mirage?
For solo roaming the condi ambush is better and easier to play, this power version is better in party/group and is harder to play imo

Hiya, is this build still viable with all the recent changes?
Nothing changed, always check the up to date builds on the list here: guildjen.com/wvw-builds/
Jen are you Maguma?
Ewwww never

Yes, this is my second channel for more roaming content and longer videos
