Hearing you talk about your family makes me really want to read your book! I can’t imagine it was to easy to write about certain things. I have a lot of respect for you and your mom. ❤
Thank you for talking about your grandma. Sometimes i hold resentment with my paternal grandmother because i feel like im not good enough and i feel as though she compares me to my cousin. But you talking about your grandma made me think about how much my grandma has helped my dad. He was a single father since i was 8. She helped him navigate my changes as a woman and she helped raise us. She helped move us from California to Texas when all my dad had was $2,000, no place to stay and no one to lean on except my grandma. Im half the woman i am today because of her. 🥺 thank you Sarah!
Wow.. I had no idea of your backstory. Thank you for sharing that with us. Your grandma sounded like a wonderful woman, I’m thankful she was there for you in such a challenging time in your life.❤ Also- I’m happy you found the culprit of the pee-pee carpet. 😂 Poor Coco, girl has been taking the fall for homeboy this whole time. Lol
Okay you just gave me chills talking about your grandmother. It really made me think about my own and how amazing she was! I would also absolutely pick my grandma if I could have her for one year as an adult. Like I could just imagine the truth and knowledge she would bring! Okay now I’m in my feelings. Anyway, I’m glad you had her and that you got to spend a lot of time with her in your childhood. It never feels like there was enough time.
I'm always saying "I wish I was as happy as Sara" I didn't realize that you've been through so much to get to the place you are at now. You inspire me everyday because you are just so real all the time. When you talked about your family like that and your grandma it really touched me. I can tell it wasn't easy for you to talk about it. Thank you for being so real, I have nothing but respect for you and love. I'm also very grateful that you are here with us now and you are doing amazing. You have no idea how watching your videos has helped me everyday to get through what I'm dealing with. So thank you! Sending lots of love your way! ❤️
I love hearing about your childhood and the issues you faced. The adversity. What a great story. Thanks for sharing. Would love to hear more of that kind of stuff from you.
Thank you for sharing more about your childhood. I feel like you're already so related but to hear more about your "less than Kodak" years is truly comforting. Thank you for being who you are. Sending lots of love your way mama!!!🩷
Hearing you talk about your grandma and how amazing she was, made me think of my mothers mom. She was the light of the family, so loving, smart, great cook and so wise..I could go on and on. She was such an important person in my life and I wish all the time I could see her now as an official adult. Thank you so much for sharing apart of your story❤
Loved the whole vlog but the family share at the end was my fav. Thanks for the openness and the reflection. My son asked why it was making me tear up and it opened a great convo about why he needs to be grateful for the time he has with my parents as it feels like a norm for him.
Big cat person here, loved hearing lil crashy meowing at you during the first clip, too cute. About adding a litterbox to the basement, I would still do it even with having multiple litterboxes already. Cats are picky, and crash might not like the location of them and prefers going in the basement. That’s if he doesn’t having a UTI or something else. He’s a boy, so he could also have stones because male cats are more likely to get them
So excited to go Fall/Halloween shopping this weekend!!! Thanks for the insider scoop! 😂 Edit: thanks for sharing your story about your Grandma… I also did not get to have my Grandma in my adult life and I know she would have made a bigger impact than she already did… I hope people who still have Grandparents (good ones) hug them a little harder when they hear your story 💕💕
I tell my kids all the time they need to appreciate the fact that they have my parents, cause a lot of us don’t get that second set of loving adults. Half of us barely got the first set
You are so right. I feel sad for those who didn’t know or lost their grandparents so early. I was extremely lucky. I had my grandparents into late adulthood. I was in my late 30’s for my grandfather and 40’s my grandmother. They were like more of a parent than anything. I miss them so much. Cherish every moment you have. You never think they won’t be around. You take for granted the little things. Edit: My great grandmother made the best root beer floats. 🥰
Thanks for sharing your stories with us, Sarah. I miss my “Nanny” too. She would love my children. I’m sure your grand momma would enjoy those babies of yours as well!
Thank you for sharing bits of your memories with your grandma. Though it doesn't feel like it I know she's blessing you every single day, her love is within you. ❤
I think the same thing about wishing to talk to my grandparents as an adult. They had so much to teach me but I didn't know to listen back then. My grandpa had dementia for many years before he passed and I regularly wish that I could have met him in his prime.
Your content is everything Sarah. I won't say please don't change because change is inevitable and sometimes means growth but please be you always😊. You bring me so much perspective and enjoyment at the same time. There are things I probably won't ever do like make sourdough but dang if I dont enjoy every minute of watching you enjoy making it. Lol. It's a rare gift. Blessings on you and your family. You guys are amazing🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing your family life with us especially your past as a young child it's not always easy but I realize now that they make us now Better parents ,Hustlers lol & stronger at heart. Thank you for always being real .
I always say I wish my grandparents were here for me to spend time with as an adult, so I know exactly what you’re talking about. So thankful for such sweet memories ♥️
My parents bought used, great shape instruments. Clarinet. Saxophone, trumpet, and a flute. I love music and still have them. Still play at Christmas time. Have played at 2 weddings...
Sounds like you had a special bond with your grandma. Your memories of her and what you shared are with you forever. I’m very thankful I had both my grandparents into adulthood and my kids even had a relationship with them that they can remember. Share your memories with your kids
My mom used to send us to Mexico during the summer months. These are some of my greatest memories. Thankfully, my grandmother is still alive, but I do wish my grandfather was also still living, so I would have gotten to know him more.
Hearing about your grandma brought me to tears, so sorry foot your loss , I myself didn’t have a motherly figure who could show me our culture either, luckily I was blessed enough to have an amazing mother-in-law, who comes from Mexico every few months, and she shows me how to cook traditional meals and pan dulce, a hack for the tortillas to make them really soft and airy put in a handful of flour. Also, don’t ever go off of the measuring instructions go off of how they feel. It should feel soft, but not sticky❤
We love a good mama chuy story. What a blessing to have had her as an influential person in your life. Id kill for another year with my grandma as well.
The love one has on your life is amazing and hits you when you least expect but definitely need. Thank you for the peak into your stepping stone & love 💖 ❣
Crying with the story of your grandma. Thank you for sharing it, I know it’s hard to be vulnerable and talk about things in your life. I also was raised by my grandma and she died a couple months after I graduated high school. When you said you wish she was alive to experience her as an adult. I cried bc I never thought of that and I too wish I was able to appreciate my grandma as an adult.
I’m sorry for your loss. Your story is so intriguing. I read a comment on here mentioning your book. I too am excited to read it one day!! I don’t have kids so I can’t relate in that aspect, but I do really look up to you. I don’t have a mom or siblings and you really help when I have girl issues or need advice. Thank you❤
Thank you for sharing your story about your grandma. I don’t know ur whole life story, but in ways I feel we grew up the same. My mom struggled with alcohol and drugs, my dad wasn’t in my life ever, but his mom was my world growing up. I felt so safe with her.
My grandma was my heart ❤️. As much as i loved her and would cherish every second i could have back with her i couldnt stand to go through the pain of letting her go again.
hearing you talk about your abuela has me in tears, those memories are so special...ad i understand the wanting to know her as AN ADULT! i fell that way about my great granny... shr is the reason my mom moved us away.. gave us a chance to have a good life.. just whhen im like how much more can i relate to you... bam you do it!
I’ve been very blessed. I knew my great grandmother and spent a lot of time with her until I was 10 or 11. My grandparents I was in my late 30’s and in my 40’s. They were like my parents not just grandparents. I miss them a lot.
Could always get rechargeable mini fans for the kids when they ride the bus. I got one for my dog when she’s in her pet carrier. It’s really slim like a pack of pop tarts. I got it in 2020 and it still works great. I also use it for myself when I’m in a hot place with no fan or AC. It’s also great for my skin care routine when I spray my rose water facial spray but I need it to dry before I do my next step. It’s the Aluan Handheld Mini Fan in case anyone is interested. I bought 2 so I’d always have one charged. They recharge with no problem and they have cute colors.
I wondered about your time in Mexico , that was cool to hear about your grandma .I miss my grandmothers too we left mine in England when I was only 6 years old and it is hard to grow up without them for sure .good video Sara .
Sarah Rae, hearing you talk about your abuelita reminded me of my own. I also lived with my grandmother and when she passed away a piece of me was gone. I still go through life asking myself "What would she do in a specific situation" I think of her daily but those of us lucky enough to have had the best abuelas have remember that we were blessed to have had such special people impact our lives. Keep doing you Sarah, i love your vlogs, your content and your honesty. QDTB
oH we got that tortilla keeper at World Market, we use it all the time. We don't have World Market where I live and I HAD to grab some stuff there when we are on vacation in a city that had one. Good purchase
Alright girl! You have really impacted me today talking about your family. I carry a lot of guilt about not liking the “family” that hurt me. Hearing you talk about your dad made me feel normal and justified. Just because they are blood it doesn’t give them a pass to hurt us and then expect us to love them for it!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I wish nothing but blessings for you and your family.
My maternal grandma is coming from Ecuador & staying with us for two months. I am forever grateful to still have her physically here with us. I lost my paternal grandma years ago & it's true what Sarah said. I wish I got to experience her as an adult 💔
I feel that way about my great grandmother also! I never lived with her but did spend a lot of afternoons after school with her! She was the oldest of 12 and lived through the depression! She also a devout Catholic and took us to all the masses! She ran a full on farm by herself! Like you said, it would be incredible to have adult conversations with her now as an adult! ❤
Same about the Grandma thing, mine died when I was 17 & I feel like I missed out on so much & I wish so much that I had cherished the time I did have with her and my great aunt before they passed. I try to stress to my sons that they need to spend as much time as they can with their elders & really soak in everything they have to give them.
Love your videos. I was lucky enough to have my great grandma And my daughter their great great grandma she passed two years ago but we all have great stories and memories of being on her ranch and my daughters had her and their great great grandpa until their 90s they lived a good life ❤
I also wish I had my grandma as an adult my life would of been so different and amazing . She showed me so many things as a kid. We would watch the price is right and days of our lives . She would make me a little café in th3 morning in these funny cups of like a owl head and the feet on the bottom and yea we slept in her bed . I love you grandma ❤
Grandmas are they best. I’m 33 and still have my grandparents. They have been married for over 55 years. They are my world. Raised me with my mom since she was 16. I moved in with them full time when I was 16 so I can go to high school on time by bus. And now they are taking care of my baby. My dog Lily. While I am on a 10 day vacation. To New Orleans and a cruise. So the day before my birthday I got a tattoo with their names written in their own hand writing. It’s my favorite tattoo now!
My grandmother (my mom's mother) passed when I was about 15. I always wish she was still around to get to know her better. She lived in Mexico too so I didn't get to see her often. It sounds like your grandmother was an amazingly caring person. It is so nice you did get some good experiences with her.
I feel the same about my grandparents. I'm the youngest of the youngest on both sides so my grandparents were a lot older when I was born compared to my cousins. Like I'm 28 and my younger grandpa would have been 101 this year if he were alive. I would have loved to learn a bit of Polish and some of the food my grandma made, or listen to my grandpa's stories about growing up in the 20s or his days as a coast guard in WW2.
Story at the end Made me get emotional,I thankfully still have my Grandma so my kids get to see and talk to their GG,thats what they call her. Its crazy being a mom and her watching my kids grow.. All the Halloween stuff is so cute. I started decorating already for Fall,I dont really decorate for Halloween but im gonna let the kids have fun this year and grab a few things.
Hearing you talk about your grandmother made me think of mine. Like you, she would be the one person I'd love to have for a year now. I did get to spend many summers with her in Mexico but once I moved out of state, I didn't see her when she visited family in CA. She passed in 2017.
I love when you post videos early in the morning perfect time to watch them while I startup my computer and begin work. I always wondered how you had such close ties to your Mexican culture without being close to your dad. Makes sense that you loved with your abuela. I would love to read your book I hope after it's published it can be available to purchase.
Not sure y I got emotional when you spoke of ur past, living with ur dad then grandmother in Mexico, but… I immediately prayed for peace and healing for you. Ur vids are always a good time😊
Sarah I loved the Halloween haul so cute and I hope your kids have a awesome school year your awesome girl take care girl ❤🙏your grandmother sounded like an amazing Lady❤
Having you ‘in’ my life is wonderful! A girls girl my age and doing things that I do in the sense of life not career is so great. Like my virtual unknown bestie lol.
Your ending just made me cry. We just celebrated the anniversary of my grandmother (nanny) passing as well as her birthday (11 days apart) and I think about things like that all the time and memories you wish they were around to create and things they would be around to experience. I’m sure she would have enjoyed you as an adult too and as a mother.
Love this. I always have to deep clean before I can decorate for 🎃 halloween 👻 my favorite holiday. I wanna decorate this weekend so I better get cleaning soon! What temperature do you keep your house?
Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable with all of us. Grandma was your Savior. On another note.... You can paint the metal doors on your electrical boxes. Black spray paint would be super fast and look great with your fantastic backsplash.
Hi Sarah, I can relate to your stories in certain ways. I never got to meet either one of my grandfather's. My mom's father took off after she was born, and my dad's father passed away before I was born. I only knew my grandma, on my dad's side. My mom's from Germany, and I was only 2 yrs old when I was last there. A bond with grandparents is something I never got.
By the time I was 20 I was out of grandparents. I would give anything to have my one grandma back. She would have loved my husband and kids. She was so much fun.
In an old vlog you mentioned you love Adidas Cloud Foam shoes. Well I ordered my first pair because of you and they've just arrived.... omg I love them! Truly the most comfortable shoe!
Hearing you talk about your family makes me really want to read your book! I can’t imagine it was to easy to write about certain things. I have a lot of respect for you and your mom. ❤
Same! Thanks for sharing about your grandma ❤
I didn’t know she had a book, I can’t find it. Do you know the name?
@@morganwest4860she never published it.
@@morganwest4860 she wrote one but hasn’t had it published.

Oh Sarah, hugs to you and your abuela, who is surely looking over you and has love and pride for all you do.
I love hearing about your childhood and the issues you faced. The adversity. What a great story. Thanks for sharing. Would love to hear more of that kind of stuff from you.
You are the most relatable TH-camr I’ve ever come across. Iloveyou sm !

I am glad they made the Johnny Amber doc because I could not keep up with the trial. It was like a condensed cliff notes version of it.

Bless grandma. She’s done a great job raising you 😊
Yayyyy!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

To New Orleans and a cruise. So the day before my birthday I got a tattoo with their names written in their own hand writing. It’s my favorite tattoo now!
My grandmother (my mom's mother) passed when I was about 15. I always wish she was still around to get to know her better. She lived in Mexico too so I didn't get to see her often. It sounds like your grandmother was an amazingly caring person. It is so nice you did get some good experiences with her.
Thank you for sharing your abuelita story! Moms are moms but man Abuelita’s they’re a special kind of love that gets cut short.
Thank you for sharing some of what makes you - YOU!❤️
I feel the same about my grandparents.
Thank you for sharing more of your story!! ❤
Loving this cat lady Sarah era. As a cat lover myself, I appreciate the cat decor!
It was beautiful to hear about your grandmother. ❤
You talking about your grandma hit home! Same 😢 hugs
GOOOOD MORNING! 💙
Loving the Halloween vibes. 🎃🐈⬛
Always loved your Natural and normal posts.God bless you all dear ❤
Not sure y I got emotional when you spoke of ur past, living with ur dad then grandmother in Mexico, but… I immediately prayed for peace and healing for you. Ur vids are always a good time😊
The most wonderful time of the year!
Sarah I loved the Halloween haul so cute and I hope your kids have a awesome school year your awesome girl take care girl ❤🙏your grandmother sounded like an amazing Lady❤
I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and it gets to 116F here! Just thankful it’s usually dry heat cause I hate the humid heat 😅
Humidity is truly what gives hot weather a bad name
What is your preferred house temp? We keep our house at 70 and it stays chilly in here but I live in the south and the air stays on all day long.
Having you ‘in’ my life is wonderful! A girls girl my age and doing things that I do in the sense of life not career is so great. Like my virtual unknown bestie lol.
Girl, you got me crying thinking about how I would’ve loved to known my grandpa as an adult. I feel you Homie.
❤❤❤love ubSara..so glad u had your Grandmother...she lives on in your kind strong and loving spirit and gracious heart tfs🙏👑😘
You are my favorite vlogger by far! I feel like we could be bff’s.
Love this. I always have to deep clean before I can decorate for 🎃 halloween 👻 my favorite holiday. I wanna decorate this weekend so I better get cleaning soon!
What temperature do you keep your house?
Loved hearing about your gramma, I feel the same for mine ❤❤
Folex is also incredible for pet stains!!!
Cloud foam are crazy comfy!
