Starting on the western edge of Kansas City, we went through downtown and encountered morning fog, then rain for the entire trip down to Kuttawa, Kentucky. Heavier rains set in starting at Warrenton, MO. 04:38:34 St. Louis Arch in sight. Welcome to 04:40:36 Illinois, traveling over the Doctor Martin Luther King Bridge historicbridges.... Because Interstate 64 was closed near Mount Vernon, Illinois, we were forced to take a two-lane detour on US-51, which had us stopped or rolling 3 mph for 12 miles!
Some points of interest in this video include downtown Kansas City, downtown St Louis, MLK Bridge, Mississippi River, and Ohio River.
