Love these books but completely unable to listen to the plays because of that ridiculous manic laughter. Not in the original so someone made a decision to interpret the character in this way.
Based on a book by Gladys Mitchell. I wish we had a cast list. It's interesting how this starts out so completely silly and gradually reels in the listener until we are hanging on every word.
That horrible laugh is actually scaring my dog!
Perfection!!!! I, too, love Mrs. Bradley.❤❤❤❤

Watch the TV series with Diana Rigg as Mrs. B. Much better.
I am with you. That laugh is wacko.
Yes, I'm giving up having listened for less than 1 minute!
I have several of these recordings and her hideous, smokers, laugh makes me cringe. I just can't listen to them.
Sounds like Phyllis Diller!
Enjoyed listening to this play, a bit camp and old-fashioned humour

Mrs Bradley was Mary Wimbush and I think Leslie Philips was the narrator, and Michael Cochrane Bertie
Good old fashioned play
Mrs Bradley is 56, Diana Rigg as Mrs Bradley appeared to be around 45.
This is my favorite I love it
I love Mrs Bradley !!
Hate the laugh

I agree with Shirley. Make me cringe.

Hate that horrible laugh. Spoils a good story.
What an annoying, ridiculous grating laugh peppered throughout an otherwise enjoyable story.
