I love my Juno DS61. Would've loved to have the DS88 but makes it a bit harder to travel with. I really think this keyboard is highly overlooked. One of the best sounding boards I've ever owned.. especially for the price.
Arnold Cardenas hey bro do you have the juno ds? please can you make a video showing all the organs sound and synth please ? i badly need to know before i buy it
I agree. I was going to get the Kawai MP7. But before I bought it, I saw the Casio Previa 560. Both of these are great boards. Then I went into Sam Ash and the sales guy there said I should look at the Juno. He then left me alone with it and there was no turning back. It was less money than those other two and sounds just as good. It has more factory sounds (a lot more) and is just better for me on stage than the others. I got the DS88 - yes it is big, but fits in my car so I am happy.
I got the DS61 as well, 35 lbs is too much to lug around when you want to be able to jump in the car to jam at a friend's place. I'm on the fence about the sounds, some are nice, while some are just awful and cheesy and not even in a good 80's kind of way. I groaned at VocalsMenu. I wonder how useful the phrase pads will end up being. I think when I have more money my ideal jamming board would have 76 or 88 semi-weighted keys (so it's luggable) and not so many features for music production, just really really realistic EP's, bass, drums, and nicer analog emulation. The Juno's analog synth chops are weak.
great performance. to transform pattern sequencer to a real play recorder, just change beat from 4/4 to 32/2 and it give 4 min of real play recording. if change pattern lenght to 8 measure. great!
Grubenpony12 I’ve been watching tons of DS videos, to my ears the machine sounds alive and has a smooth, yet dark thick sound. I think it sounds better than a lot of the new analogs, just for my taste. How is custom sound designing with DS, is it a capable machine to create your own unique stacked sounds? The keybed on the 88 has a wonderful feeling from the one I briefly tried out.
I noticed the recorder up in the right hand corner is that the zoom ? and or whatever it is can you record your keyboard and then add guitar to another track ? Really making my mind up on the Juno-DS some great sounds you show this off the best of all the vids I've seen nice work!
How's the feel on the one you got? I'm assuming it's a DS-61, right? I'm looking at getting one of the Juno-DS's for my birthday later this year, but I'm torn between the DS-61 and the 88. I played an 88 at Guitar Center, and I love the keyboard feel, but the 61's 300 bucks less and more in my league. If I have to spend the extra 300, I will, but if the 61's action is just as good, I'll go with that.
I think it's better to by the 88Key-Version, than you habe a real Piano-Feeling. The 61er was classical Plastic-Feeling - Most I play the DS via Midi through the RD-800, wich has an amazing Keyboard-Action
Thanks. I think I'll get the DS88. It'll cost a little more, but I think it'll be worth it i the long run. It'll make an excellent MIDI controller as well.
Gottseidank😀
Thank you, this great video makes me even more enthusiastic about my DS-61. It sounds a bit cleaner and brighter than mine, and I wonder if either a) you were using the System Equalizer in the DS to brighten it a bit, or scoop out the midrange? or b) if the Zoom did something to the sound, or TH-cam compression does something to it? (I understand you weren't using the Zoom microphone - but the DS's headphone out?) Thanks again! danke.sehr gut! ;)
Vielen Dank!

Prince Samson. I didn't like the sound of the ds through studio monitors or keyboard amps so I bought an electrovoice ZLX 12p which has 2 xlr inputs and a mixer. It's a powered pa speaker. TRY them out at GC.

I agree I've seen very negative comments about this synth. Very underrated. The value for the buck can not be beaten.

Good day, Does the Keys of Ds smaller than FA 06? And hows the Patches by the way? Is it user friendly? thanks
Van Breemen Nalam The Keys have the normal Size. The Patches ok, but only ground things (reverb etc) to editing...
Quick question for ya ? Does getting a single KRK monitor and connecting it to phones output of Juno ds sound as good as these ?

Can we use this Juno as midi on mac
Yes. In the Support-Site you find a Juno DS Driver for Windows...
How do you record sound. Do we need audio interface?
No. Just a Zoom Q4 Camera at the Headphone-Output...:)
External FX in this video?
No. Only Presets.

Is this being recorded with the zoom in the right corner? which model?
Zoom R8
Is the xps30 and the ds the same?
Sorry, I don't know...
Yeah pretty much the same, but XPS30 has 1600 sounds compared to Juno DS 1200. But overall, they’re one and the same
Sir i want your tone....plz ....belong india..
Thank you so much! Sorry, I sold my DS. But if I find another one, I'll remember....
Are these all the factory patches?
Yes
Thank you!
L suono di chitarra elettrica è nelle patch?mi dici qual’è? E come l’hai modificata?
