It led to more mistakes because you have a high risk player in a high risk position. I was screaming because I didn’t want Vini here. But he was instructed to. When he dropped deep Bellingham and Rodrygo could make forward runs. Sometimes he made mistakes but they never led to clear Atalanta chances. Other time he broke lines and found Jude or Rodrygo. What I immediately concluded from this tactic is that Vini was struggling so much for fitness that he couldn’t make the runs behind the defence so instead he dropped deep and allowed Bellingham and Rodrygo to do it. And this led to one of the goals.

Vini Jr. is an excellent playmaker...can score and assist equally which should be his primary traits...he also thrives in cf/false 9 position unlike Mbappe, who has almost 0 playmaking ability...Thats why Vini Jr. has to be the face of Real Madrid
O Vinícius Júnior tá cada vez mais melhorando o passe é incrível a melhora dele, com certeza ele deve ter muitas aulas com o Toni Kroos e Luka Modric. Ele tá melhorando tanto que acho possível de ele jogar no meio quando ficar mais velho parecido com o que o Neymar fez. E uma coisa que me impressiona nele é essa postura dele de ele jogar em todas as posições do campo, claramente no video em vários momentos ele aparece numa posição onde o certo seria um volante estar. A postura dele não é parecido com a de um jovem, geralmente quem faz muito isso de sair da posição e tentar ajudar em outras posições são jogadores mais experientes que sabem que o time está precisando de apoio naquela outra posição e essa posição aí que o Vinícius Júnior frequentou é onde fica a lacuna que o Toni Kroos deixou e é o maior problema do Real Madrid.
