Cool I really want to start collecting the classic Lego space theme sets (only these type) but I have some rare Lego sets and Minifigures(I made I vid on them)
Love this set :) btw: if you got the box too, are you gonna have a go at creating the various alt-builds shown on said box ? I found one for the 928 Spaceship (SPACESHIP!!!!) on an old lego magazine and had a most fun week or so working out how to put it together based on just a few pix. Being very much a non-MOCer and lego novice I was most proud that I eventually cracked it.
That's a great idea, I'm definitely going to do a series of alternate builds at some point. For the moment I'm working through all of the sets from 1979 and I've got both the 924 and the larger 928 spaceship to do soon.
In one of the old lego catalogue things from the 1980s there is an alt build for the 928 model. They give you 6 steps in its construction and I had a good number of days trying to work out how it all went together - it helping to know ONLY the parts from the set were used. :) imgur.com/a/oANNt#MiFcO7l

Classic Space is probably my all time favourite Lego theme, the original designs are real classics.
