    I keep Centropyge argi in my mixed reef, i notice less polyp extension on sps in the day time, but nothing harmful to the corals. She picks and cleans all day long on the rocks and sleeps in her selected cave.

      Certain species of the dwarf angelfish are more reefsave then others. And there is also a difference on specimen level ofcourse. For example, Argi and flame angel are bit more reefsave then a bi color. But they still can go rogue in your aquarium if you are unlucky. So seems you have a good boy in your tank haha

      @@ReefAdventure she has been amazing, ate pellet and flake food on day one of bringing her home. I feed multiple times a day and made sure to add this fish last. I hope she stays this way, and doesn't go rogue. I've always wanted C. argi in my eef, the pugnaciousness and quirky personality of them is why I love them. If that means I don't keep acans or zoas I can live with that.

      More fish in a tank the dominance pecking order is more even, have 2 or 3 angels in a smaller tanks with less fish then they will all just look at eachother as competition

  • @Peterrdee
    @Peterrdee 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

    They don’t get along all the time, I had a flame and potters and they did fine for 7 years until they got full size, my potters ended up jumping out of the tank because they were fighting so much, so yea don’t mix them unless your tank is like 6ft long and lots of spaces for them to escape eachother for a while they need their space !

    After quarantining my Rusty Dwarf Angel for 3 months, I put him in my 125 and withing 3 hours some of his fins are nipped and he has some white spots. What are stress spots? Should I take him out? I have never had ick in my tank.

    • @ReefAdventure
      @ReefAdventure  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What are your current inhabitants in the tank? Sounds like a fish is showing territorial behavior. Those white spots could be ick. I would recommend to post this case on reef2reef. That way you can get the help you need.

      I think it was territorial behavior. After 24 hours, his wounds healed. No white spots after 3 days of being in the tank. I wonder if it was sand that stuck to it. I'm sure the next few days will make it clear. Thanks. @@ReefAdventure

      It could just be bacteria, it's not too serious if that's the case because it'll just come off.
