I am an incredibly lazy person. I desperately want to change and pray to the Holy Spirit to change me. I have done nothing with my life and have nothing to show for it that I am aware of and am worried that I will not get any rewards when the time comes. Please pray for me to be a better person.

How do I do this when I cannot even find the switch to “turn on”
The light switch is in you. You turn it on when you speak kindly to someone or help someone with their groceries. Those "good works" are those activities that help others, that's how you glorify God.
The switch is ever present. Ask God how you can find the Peace you hear about from others. IF YOU are watching Joyce the switch, the desire is already there. Just find what delights you..go do that and express that joy to others. God has "your back" Listen to her sermon again, so many instructions to get closer to the light
@@evawinddriver man I do that with out hesitation… I love helping people, even those that society rejected. But when I get into the confinement’s of my one home. The struggles hit, the switch is covered with the hand of a demon, from my past struggles that have returned due to my weakness….

The light is Jesus. So we have to constantly keep Christ involved with our every move and choices. For me personally, it starts with my thoughts. Taming my mind, and being able to realize as quickly as possible when I've disconnected from Christ and allow the enemy to speak to me instead. Then rebuking the devil and getting back in good Grace's with Christ. Its the small mind battles that manifest in our actions.
