I recently got one and I'm 34 years old. I wanted a trike so I can chill and ride around. The bike shop had my bike and it was the last one and he kept telling me you'll love it. He was right. A year ago I thought about getting a trike lower to the ground but in my area it's not a good idea plus expensive. I'm glad I got my Baja Sun trike. I can go maybe fishing or go get beer for my brother as long as he gives me enough for me to buy something too. For myself and its interesting to see how many head turns I get when I ride my Baja around. Sometimes I think about wearing a biker helmet and sunglasses and biker vest because the trike is badass.
I was recently looking to get an adult tricycle and the Sun Baja was one of two trikes I was considering. Unfortunately that bar across the step thru was just a little too high. I'm disabled and couldn't lift my right leg high enough. The trike was also pretty pricey. I did end up with another Sun tricycle: thinner tires, no bar across the step thru, and a different seat setup. But the same 7 gears and a more affordable (for me) price. A good choice for me, but I bet the Baja would have been a wonderful trike for me too.
It's made by Sun Bicycles which is based in Florida. I'm sure Texas has a bike shop SOMEWHERE that would handle the Baja or maybe could order it for you.

how do they handle hills ?
If i want to change the freehub to a cassette , what specs do i need for a compatible replacement? do you stock a 9 speed cassette that would fit?
