I haven't done much classic Mega Man, aside from my Elec Man cover many months ago and it was great to bring Freeze Man back to life. I always thought he had a great look. Merry Christmas Arthur, I hope you had a great time! Yeah man, that Anbernic was one of the best buys I've ever done. It's not too expensive, and it runs all the way to N64. And I'm glad I had put Mega Man 7 there already so it was a fun thing to show on the video

to be honest I'm not to much suprised after you told me thinking about covering chill man :) Still a nice christmas surprise from you :) what is a "icynot"? oo xD the drums and guitar rifts are capturing so well the 80s rock and metal feeling with this good mastered reverb - this is such a good footing for the song :) the syntheziser capturing really well the feeling of the original song and truly sound like a version of the original synths without limitations :) also it works so well to give the song its icy feeling! and your lead-guitar is giving really some extra energy and motivation, its like you captured mega mans emotions and feeling with this to finally stop wily even if he has to go through this ice cold place (and you can tell mega man is so angry of wily in this game) This is now one of my favorites from you, and damn that guitar solo in the "whispers in the wind" solo was 🔥 ps: the blue shirt gives truly some mega man vibes and I like your capturing of the gameplay c: 3:18 freezeman exe is not responsing, error not found 404 xD nice fight! you really crushed the ice and gave has a banger - what a grandfinale for 2024 on your channel :) thanks for sharing Conso-kun!
That was my subtle hint that it was going to be a Mega Man cover when I said that. It took me a while to know what you meant by "icynot" haha it's IcyHot. It's a menthol that helps with muscle and joint ache. I've had some pain on my left shoulder since a month ago and haven't been able to train so I've been using it to help me recover and when I was going to record the synth video, I just though it was fitting to keep it in plain sight for this icy theme. The original already had an 80s sound so it was a seamless transition to bring all my influences of the 80s rock/metal sound to this cover so it was quite enjoyable. I usually have synths as backing melodies but I really didn't want to lose that magic of the original synths so I decided to keep it true to the original. I like your take on Mega Man being angry at Wily for all he's done. I guess you could take that as well from the unmerciful way in which I destroyed Freeze Man haha (though I secretly rebuilt him but this time as a good Robot). For the solo, I struggled at first in composing the right backing rhythm progression that would connect with this cover well but also inspire me with a powerful solo. The first one I composed did not inspire me like that so I decided to start a new one and when I did, the solo flowed beautifully. I really wanted to express powerful emotions as a farewell to this year in that solo and I believe I achieved that. Thank you for the throughout comment like you always do, and for the support you always give me Blue. I'm glad to end the year on a high note with this one. Merry Christmas my friend!

I kinda guessed it, but from all the Ice Robot Masters to choose from, Freeze Man is a solid choice. 1:20 Solos are always a highlight in every Cover / Remix, It's what makes them stand out, and this one is no different. @Consolous Very Cool indeed (pun intended) , the thing with the Solos is that sometimes you don't need to think a lot but "feel" it, sometimes is trial and error, but get it done is very satisfying. I have been stuck sometimes making a solo for my Remixes, and it turns out that the simpler is sometimes the better.
