@@rcrhinehart66 this is a nice part I agree, but the scenery Ive seen on arroyo seco road near Greenfield,nacimiento Fergusson road, Carmel valley road, route 25 heading south past Hollister,and of course rt 1 in Big Sur is far prettier than here.even rt 46, heading west to the coast from Paso Robles, past the crest of 46, the westward side is amazing ...and I'm not even mentioning the my Shasta area....or Yosemite...not knocking this video at all...it was nicely done.but their is far prettier places in the Golden State.

I wish they built faster but that is for another discussion. I ride daily in Los Angeles to work and truly do not know what I would do without it.
Thanks so much for the great drive! I am retired now to Palm Springs but miss San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma and Napa so much. Use to go wine tasting and picnicking there along your route back in the day when tasting was mostly free. Great memories now more special than ever in the current shelter-in-place world. I've ridden my motorcycle past all these vineyards and I will say it's surreal. .it's beautiful. .and every gas station has a wine room [like a converted auto station]. You get this feel of traditions going back to the old country [European countries] are in the Napa wine valley.

It's a very big country and most of it doesn't look like that at all. Unless you make $200,000+ per year you wouldn't be able to afford living anywhere near that area.

I drove from San Diego to Bakersfield, King's Canyon (Redwoods), Fresno and back southwards along the coast (passing Santa Barbara and LA). Never been to America before, it was amazing.
I take my local scenery and weather for granted. The heat can get insufferable at times, but damn is the rest of the year's perfect weather worth it; love the rain season.
I lived in bay area from 2003 to 2019 .16 years straight .I moved back to india last year but lot lot of memories from San Francisco ,Oakland ,marin ,santa rosa .,sanjose ,Fremont ,Berkeley .I will be back some day 🙏
Yea this is a very beautiful place. I live about 10 mins north of Santa Rosa in a small town called windsor. I truly love this place and I’m so grateful to have grown up in such a amazing and beautiful place
@@jasoncamacho4855 I worked in Windsor for one year in liquor store and in next town heldsburg .I lived in Santa Rosa for couple of years but don't like it as much I like Windsor and heldsburg .These town are only ten minutes apart but it's a culture shock .I mean lot of crimes and weird people up in Santa Rosa but Windsor is charming town and peaceful .😊

When I moved to Santa Rosa over thirty years ago Fountain Grove was still a Christmas Tree Farm, and Coffey Park was building the last phase up to Barns Road and the Railroad Tracks. I never would have thought to see, in 2017 all those homes go away over night. Be safe, stay attentive, and healthy.
My sister and brother-in-law lived in Sonoma for while a few years ago and they really liked it. Seeing it here, I can understand why. It's a beautiful area. By the way, when you're driving through San Francisco, how do you resist the temptation to hit the gas and jump those hills? lol
